Robotinha Em Lisboa
I just arrived in Lisbon (or how the Portuguese say: Lisboa) for SteemFest 2, which will start tonight with an opening reception. The lady on the picture is Robotinha ("Little Robot Lady"), the trophy of our Bitfilm Contest 2017. It will be awarded to the winning film maker on Friday during the "A Night of Steem" gala.
We have used toy robots as award trophies for many years at the Bitfilm Festival, so we will keep this tradition.
In the plane I met two more Steemians, Anja and Majella from Berlin, which was no big surprise, as we knew we were all going to SteemFest and RyanAir usually has the best offers.
We took an Uber from the airport, the driver João let me out at the house near the festival venue where I will stay in an AirBnB with two friendly Brazilians. My room is very beautiful, with traditional Portuguese furniture. Carol and Rafael even prepared a bottle of wine to welcome me - you would expect that at a fancy hotel, not at an AirBnB!
I am looking forward to my stay in Lisbon a lot and I hope to meet many Steemians here!
