Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
Holding steady
We now have ten pools, so your upvotes could come from @steembasicincome, @sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, @sbi7, @sbi8, @sbi9 or @sbi10. The number of members that have posted within the last 28 days increased again to 3630. There are also many more members that have not posted. Unfortunately, the members that are not posting are not receiving upvotes. As of today, there are 44194 'shares' in the program, and it grows every day.
Recently my daughter joined Steemit. She won a contest for SBI shares with her first comment! I then bought her shares too. I’m so thankful we have this project so that when Steem finally perks up again, all those shares will add up to some nice upvotes. It does feel like a savings program for the future. I know anything can still happen, but isn’t it better to look on the positive side?
Delegation Bonus Shares
Existing members can receive bonus shares from delegation. For every 10 SP delegated to @steembasicincome, members will receive 1 bonus share. These bonus shares will be removed if the delegation is withdrawn. Currently each share receives an average weekly voting value of 0.0094.
@sbi2, @sbi3, @sbi4, @sbi5, @sbi6, @sbi7, @sbi8, @sbi9 and @sbi10 are managed to target multiples (e.g. 200 shares ~ 400 SP, 500 shares ~1000 SP, etc.) For this reason we ask that members that are delegating for bonus shares always delegate to pool 1 and we will manage the SP flow into the lower pools appropriately. If you want to fill SP orders through minnowbooster's market, you are of course welcome to fill the orders going to lower pools. Please do not combine filling orders for pool 1 (@steembasicincome) with delegating for bonus shares.

Any Steemian that is already enrolled in @steembasicincome can delegate as much as they would like, to receive bonus shares. If you are not already a member but would like to delegate, please send an enrollment transaction to @steembasicincome and we will add your bonus shares at the time we process your enrollment.

Enrollment
If you want to get involved, or to increase the share of basic income that you receive, enrollment is pretty straightforward:
Just send 1 STEEM to @steembasicincome. Include the name of a Steemian to sponsor in the transaction memo (preceded by @). You and the person you sponsor will each receive 1 share in the program. You can sponsor any active Steemian, it does not have to be a current member.

Found your name on tab sbi10. And based on https://steemworld.org/@shoutloud I found one vote from @sbi8.
The main "problem" right now is, that you only have 1 share, but you are making up to 16 posts per week. Also the pool is limited in the amounts of upvotes per day (until the full automation is rolled out.)
So you are receiving roughly receiving up to one vote per day on one post and you will have the same income from steembasicincome per week from now on. But getting upvotes on every post, required more shares or a lower frequency.
(But the amount earned per share per week should stay roughly the same.)

Really good job guys. I can't wait to see what this becomes.
I'm having trouble looking up my shares with the tool. It seems the box where you enter your name is read only.
We had some issues with vandalism immediately after releasing the tool. You need to make your own copy of the sheet to enter your name.
That's a bummer that people muck things up. Can you change the sheet to be protected, so the only field that can be edited is the one where you type the name? Then the lookup happens behind the scenes.
That's actually what we had done. But google sheets handles protections either at sheet level or document level. To have the sheet locked except for one cell, the document has to be unlocked. That leaves a security hole where people could add additional sheets to the document even though that sheet is locked.
That's lame. Excel lets you have specific cells that aren't locked, but then you can lock the whole sheet. Then the only thing you can do is change the name in the unlocked cell. You could theoretically write bad words in there or something, but that's all the damage you could do.

I am still a long way to reach a SP value that allows me to delegate... One day, one day...
Keep plugging away. We recommend that members get 500+ to have the slider, unless they are using a condenser that supports a slider sooner (like busy.org)
I’ve recently got into SBI and I think it’s such an awesome idea! I know first hand how hard it is to start out in steemit so I’m glad initiatives like this exist
