I really like the @steembasicincome project on Steemit. It is a reverse Ponzi scheme and so well thought out.

I already bought some shares and sponsored some people on Steemit who I like. I am so positive about this project, I even delegated some SP, because I believe this project should succeed.
However, I realise there are people that don't have steem yet and can't afford the shares right now. Therefore, I will sponsor 5 people regardless if this post makes any money or not. But if it does make any money, I pledge to sponsor another person per dollar that the post got up-voted.

I have been a been a big advocate for universal income on a worldwide scale. The truth of the matter is technology is getting so advanced, that we will never get close to full employment again. How we support people in this new era of technology has been a frequent thought of mine. I don't think I know all the answers, but I think it's a conversation we all need to start having right away.
The desire to explore the concept of universal basic income is why I started to get interested in @steembasicincome project. I read all about it and eventually donated a share to help out one of my friends I brought into Steemit. I am now curious to see how far we can take this proof of concept.
I personally got into Steemit because I got interested in this whole blockchain technology, not because I wanted to get rich, but because I wanted to understand the technology. When I discovered Steemit, I merged that curiosity with a desire to try and start a blog and I've been here for three months now. I found it a challenge to keep a somewhat steady stream of posts, but the cool people I've met here has been worth the effort.
Whether it be the Steem blockchain itself or the concept of UBI inside of Steem, I can't help but feel like I'm on the beginning of a wave that will only grow in the future. I sincerely hope I'm right.
I feel the same. I feel like we are at the beginning of a wave. Though the crypto currency space is dropping I truely believe in platforms like steem. I first was sceptical about the money one can earn, as money makes corrupt. Instead I have met wonderful people on here.

Thanks for the initiative. I like the concept of Universal Basic Income. But only when it provides a decent enough income so that I don't have to worry about earning more money.
The whole idea should be: UBI should let me explore more of what I love doing in terms of being creative.
How I got started:
Just a week back, I was reading something on Medium and I stumbled upon @kadavy's post where he said he was making money just by writing for more than 2 years.
That got me interested, and I immediately applied to enroll and got my approval a week back.
Irrespective of me making money on the site, what I like is the very thought of the potential to make money to stick to a new habit (writing).
I look at Steemit as a platform, that allows me to write more. So that I become better at it.

Greetings,
I am a music composer and photographer, and joined Steemit less than two weeks ago.
I've joined Steemit because posting on traditional websites ie Youtube and Flickr felt unsatisfying; the view number goes up, an occasional nice comment, however not much is gained. While of course making music and photography is satisfying in itself, it is somewhat disheartening for one's content to get drowned under more popular post, with very few benefits being had from it.
The tangible reward that Steemit gives makes it much more motivating to share my art. And even more importantly, that motivation is clearly shared among members of this community, therefore even though the community is small I've noticed more interactions with my posts in two weeks on Steemit than I would get in months on other sites, and interacted with fine people who do fine art. It is a fine platform, and surely in time it will overtake some of the traditional ones .
Steembasicincome seems like an interesting project which could help bring visibility to what I do (which is hard for a minnow), however as of yet I do not have enough Steem to participate, hence my post here.

One of my dearest friends is photografer Andrew way she sees live is so different than through my scientific brain. Than again it seems that chemist and artist go well together.we have 4 chemists and 3 artists in our family. I’m intrigued to see how steemit will play out for you. My name is Gideon Nnakude. I joined steemit early this year.
Before I Joined Steemit
Life was a bit tough for me as a Nigerian student who came from a poor background. I lost my dad in my third year in the university that was in April 2015 just some weeks to my first semester exams. I summoned up courage within that period and i cleared my papers. I had two more years on campus to stay and things were extremely bad and my elder brother who was a graduate had no job. I started to go online to see what i can do for myself to raise cash for myself. The search continued until last year i started a youtube channel but got tired on the way since AdSense said my channel must have up to 10,000 views before i can be approved. I abandoned it but before now i had some ideas about bitcoin when it was $400/one but no cash to buy it.
I then went into blogging since i was good in writing. I started my own blog https://gcnstories.blogspot.com and did all the search engines stuffs but yet AdSense did not approve it. I felt discouraged last year and abandoned it since no money to buy a domain name for my blog.
I then decided to try some coins faucet and bitcoin trading. Which i started until i met @lordidama1
My Journey Into Steemit
I met @lordidama1 on a telegram group where i was learning how to trade on binance. He then told me about writing and getting paid. At first i was like all these thieves because i have written before but never got paid.
To cut the whole long story that was how i found myself on steemit like three weeks ago and this week i have really learnt some good ways of earning on steemit

Why I Need The steembasicincome
I was suppose to graduate last year from the Federal University Of Technology Minna in my country Nigeria but could not because of some financial challenges which with my coming to steemit i see some green light coming my way but limited by steem power and the bandwidth stuff.
I need the @steembasicincome as well to help me to help others in my country. By showing them how to fish on steemit and not just giving them the fish i have gotten from steemit
