Sharing Is Caring: 1KSp Program: Two More Adoptees: Helping Ourselves By Helping Others (Edited)
A month or so ago, I wrote a couple posts detailing how I felt that $100K is life changing money to most people. Since I firmly believe we will see a price of $100 STEEM (more believable now than when it was $.85), that means people will hit that level by powering up to 1000 SP.
At that time I introduced the 1KSP program (which stands for 1,000 SP). The idea behind the program was to "adopt" someone who had less than 1,000 SP and upvote up to 2 posts a day at 100% voting power. This was to continue until that individual reached 1,000 SP.
A week ago, I announced that the first one I adopted, @mariannewest, reached the 1K threshold in her account. She is now on here way, working towards the 2,500 level.

In that post I asked for suggestions of people to add to the program. While I got a lot of wonderful ideas, some did not meet the requirements. Here are some of the basics:
- Must have below 1,000 SP (or equivalent in his/her account). Many have SBD and STEEM in their account which pushed them over the threshold.
- They must be willing to power up, not down. Many are in need of the funds and I understand that. However, this is a program designed to grow an account to build wealth.
- They must post daily. This is a social site and we need interaction.
Now it is time to expand and grow.
I am excited to announce there is another participant in this program with me. Personally, I hope this motivates a few more of the dolphins to participate also.
@overkillcoin has agreed to join me in adopting a person who fits the criteria I just mentioned. He is pleased to announce that he selected @hanen as his adoptee. Please assist @overkillcoin in this venture by stopping by his blog and giving some of his wonderful animations an upvote or two (he really does sensational work).
As for myself, I am going to assist @jakeybrown in his quest to get to 1,000 SP. Thus far he does more commenting than posting but we will change that.
Congratulations to these two individuals and thank you @overkillcoin for your commitment to this.
By the way, if anyone over 1,000 SP would like to join us in helping others, this is a great way to give back. While your vote might not be worth a ton, to someone new it can really help. This is especially true for your Dolphins. We need 3 or 4 more of you to publicly come on board. There are many fine candidates who @overkillcoin and myself came up with who would appreciate the help.

What a cool idea. I only just learnt what Steem power and voting power was thanks to your post from three days back. I was so excited I finally learned something, I not only understood but was useful that I wrote my own post about my appreciation of yours, with the hope to help more Minnows like me use our Steem power better. (Only 59 hours left until back to 100%)
I can't wait to get my slider bar at 500SP. I'm a long way off at just over 70 but I convert all my SBD to Steem and Power up as soon as I get any through. It's going to be a long process as getting traction as a Minnow is very hard.
I applaud you for setting this up and hope you get some more dolphins and even whales to support you and others. That's what I believe this platform is about and what makes me know that powering up and investing in each other is the best way forward.

You will maintain use of the delegation the whole time, until you achieve the 1,000 SP level in your own account. Plus a week, most likely LOL! It takes a week to revoke delegated SP. All I ask beyond that is that you then sponsor one of your own, which I know you are already agreeable to do!

I will do my best to crank out a post a day, I have a lot of writing that I never finished up into complete blog posts that I can pull from and will start the habit of writing posts in my free time. I have a fulltime job and a baby, but this should be doable.
