Wassup Fellow Steemians, Can I just say thank you to my followers and to welcome to my blog.

Today am going to be talking about the enormous affect that steemit and the steem blockchain is making on all types of media most importantly the shift with Youtube to dtube.

It's so amazing for me to see this great and helping community grow at such a fast pace, I haven't been on steemit for long but it has been an awesome and a truly eye opening experience.

The steem platform, split up between great apps such as; dmania and dtube. It's not only one of the fastest growing communities but one of the most diverse and thriving forms of media with many great sports bloggers like @steemsports you can catch up on today's NBA news and NFL news and also check up on the ever growing world of cryptocurrency with awesome crypto bloggers like @cryptopassion your sure to never miss a thing! and with steemit being a cryptocurrency based blog site it's an extra bonus you can cash in every week with steem or steem backed dollars on your creation and also it's completely decentralized . This is making it much more efficient for new creators to get payed for what they love.

It's honestly no wonder how this blockchain powered community has managed getting top social media sites rethinking strategies, below you'll see the overall estimated activity in the top 5 countries:

As you can see the USA is dominating the space right now, it's mainly down to the influences of famous american youtubers flocking over to jump into this revolutionary platform over the past week we've seen numerous complaints from small (and big) YouTube content creators who are upset with the newest updates to the YouTube Partnership Program (YPP). The newest TOS requires a channel to have 4,000 hours of watchtime within the past 12 months and 1,000 subscribers in order to be eligible for monetization. Meanwhile on dtube, content creators are allowed to earn revenue from their videos from day one without meeting any requirements at all. This has forced content creators to make a big decision:
Stay with YouTube or join the dtube movement? Really we all know the answer so far with the payouts on steemit and 'the family feel' certainly in my eyes shows which way not just social media but news articles, promotions and vlogging will be heading in the next coming years. Personally the youtubers from the UK I have watched have not said much on this in fact nothing at all but I would love to see what kind of impact someone like Tom Cassel aka Syndicate one of the first and still the one of the most watched youtubers from the UK could bring to the steem blockchain.
