Steemit Tip | How to WIN during low STEEM value.
Start a contest or participate in one.
While STEEM value is low, there are less people posting, which means you actually have less competition and more opportunity to win.
With less people posting, your post is more visible in general.
Most contest creators will up the prize during low STEEM, to offset the drop in value and to attract more participants. This means that the winner will actually be collecting more STEEM (or SBD), than when the prices are high.
If more people start to participate in contests during the value drop, this will also benefit the Contest Creators, as they will get more interaction with their posts, and thus more upvotes and resteems.

Your first tip is certainly very true. I'm still trying to post daily, but my feed has slowed down. Less activity overall, so I have to imagine my post is sitting near the top of my followers' feeds quite a bit longer.
One can only hope they're still actually on steemit to see it with their eyeballs and toss me an upvote once in a while.
I have won a few contests here during my time on Steemit - sometimes I am the only one to enter! Hate it when people moan about not being able to make a bit of money on here - enter a few contests!
