As a Sndbox Steward, each month I will nominate a blogger or few for @sndbox membership. Often they will be new Steemians, but this time my nominees aren’t brand new to Steemit but each offers great content that I believe could benefit from more visibility and support. My intention is for this post to bring attention to their content as well as to offer them the opportunity to join and receive the support of @sndbox if they choose.

Take a look at these bloggers, I hope you’ll want to follow and support their efforts on a consistent basis!

Is @sndbox is new to you?

It is an incubator project on Steemit focused on empowering creatives. It’s designed to support, train and showcase valuable contributors as well as make Steemit user-friendly to those new to the platform. It’s a pretty cool and innovative project that I highly recommend supporting and following.

Now for the nominees:

  1. @paolobeneforti is an incredibly creative, talented and prolific artist in Italy. For 9 months he has consistently posted his paintings, drawings, sculptures and digital art sometimes even twice a day regardless of the ups and downs in the value of Steem. He also regularly holds art contests to increase interaction and visibility among Steemians and has initiated an Art Meeting at Steemfest. I’m always nourished by his fresh and dream-like images and would like to see higher rewards for him and thus am nominating him for @sndbox.

  2. @reddragonfly is an artist and gallery owner in Port Townsend, WA (USA) and formerly in Austin, TX. Since he joined Steemit in June, his posts consistently raise important and sometimes tricky questions and topics about art, the ways we individually and societally value creativity, as well as thoughts about the business of art. These posts have sparked some poignant conversations both in the comments as well as in my life and I find it refreshing to read about these factors that define our lives yet are so rarely discussed. I would like to see @reddragonfly receive more support and visibility thus am nominating him for @sndbox.

  3. @anialexander started blogging on Steemit about 4 months ago and I first learned of her through her thoughtful interviews, she's a natural! She also included a summary of important points within the post so one could read highlights even if one didn’t have 40 minutes to watch the whole thing. @anialexander is oozing with talent and potential and for awhile was creating quality post after quality post. I’d like to see her blog supported and to see more of her great interviews and writing.

thank you very much for nominating me, @natureofbeing. your words about me are far too kind and generous!
I'm going to join this amazing project, and to give my ideas and contribution to it, for what I can. :)

so glad to hear it Paolo, that's great news!!

This is awesome Paolo, I'm excited for you to join! See you in the chat soon dude :-)

Congrats @paolobeneforti. I am looking forward to interesting insights for the arts community.

Thank you for the nomination @natureofbeing-- really appreciate your kind words and your support!

Our intention is to support art and artists, of course, but also to find a way to leverage almost 20 years total on the gallery side of art into asking questions and starting dialogue on some of the topics artists and the art world often have but don't ask "because what if it makes me look stupid or narrow minded or ignorant?"

Sometimes these are issues that are really basic... and yet we avoid them because (like our parents and money!) "we don't TALK about that, dear!"

As far as I am concerned, there's nothing wrong with being an "educated" artist, as well as a talented one. So we want to take that on.

I'm so glad you're out there doing what you're doing!

Hello @natureofbeing! This will seem strange to you I know but for some reason I was thinking about you this morning so I went to my list of people that I'm following to find your name but it wasn't there! I know that I was following you because I have left several comments on many of your older posts. Well, I go to the list of the people following me and start looking for your name there also and it's not there either! I don't know what in the world has happened but something definitely happened. It wasn't that long ago we were talking about eating honey and shooting guns so...??? Anyway, I've followed you back again lol.

how strange, I looked and you are correct I'm not following you anymore but I know that I was! Anyway, I'm following now and glad you caught this :-)
Thanks for thinking of me, I love your posts and have my eye on you!

This is awesome - thanks for helping the rest of us Steemians discover interesting content! I hadn't come across any of these three talented people yet on my own.

Wonderful! So glad to hear these are new discoveries for you.

Absolutely love that you're involved and this supportive. Really looking forward to meeting these talented individuals.

Thanks @natureofbeing!

love being involved, you guys have created something wonderful and so mutually beneficial!

These are awesome Steemians! Thanks for the great nominations @natureofbeing :)

I really love doing this, thanks for the honor of stewardship!

This is awesome! Doing my best right now to be a featured Sndbox member :)

looks like you're well on your way! I'm new to your blog but will do some reading.

Good post! I'm going to follow you to see more post like this and for support us!

If you do not wish to receive these messages in future, reply with the word "stop".

These are amazing folks! You should check out the Da Vinci School at VCU for a model of innovation.

I just went online and it looks pretty great, thanks for telling me about it, I hadn't heard of it.

I attended their semester seminar that is required before applying to take their courses. The speakers were AMAZING.

All around it was a great experience. There are tons of these types of innovation incubators now. Depending on the field a person wants to pursue. I.e. I would never submit to the DARPA ones.

BUT there are resources if one can learn to present themselves.

Thanks for the next series of article ideas for @chambercommerce.
