So hello all to the 14th edition of VOTE YOUR RUNNING AUTHOR OF THE WEEK 14!!!

REMINDER ON HOW THE CONTEST WORKS:

Readers of the post will vote which is the Running Author of the week, who will be awarded with the part of the earnings of the same report.

  • The main criteria we use in order to nominate the candidates is the Quality and Originality of the Post, but nevertheless we will try to choose also posts done by Approved Runners which visibility is low due to, either, they are newcomers to the STEEM ecosystem and to the @runningproject initiative or, also authors that have not been nominated before or have been nominated, but we feel, they should be nominated again!

  • The ''Running Authors'' will be awarded with a portion of the 50% of the SBD earned on this post approximately after one week of its publication, so all of them will be rewarded but just one will be the ''Author of the week''.

  • The prize will be split as follows:

        ''Author of the week'': 70%
''Consolation Prize'': 30% divided among the other authors.

A dedicated post will be published by @runningproject announcing the winner on following Saturday.

NOMINATED RUNNING AUTHORS AND RELATED POST

@browery : ''My contribution to #run100kkm challenge - 24th April''

browery.jpg

It is a nicely prepared running blog about running and stuff around running happening to @browery. It is equipped with all the data and graphs and he also participates. Not to mention that he prepares the blog bilingually (also for Polish audience). Nice!

@shazza: ''My day taking part in the London Marathon 22nd April 2018"

shazza.jpg

All of you who ever finished the full marathon know that first marathon is something one will never forget. @runningproject congratulates you again! And back to the chosen blog: @shazza covers all the pre-start info with the marathon insights, feelings, and unavoidable temporary issues... and finishes the blog with feeling fine about crossing the finish line and celebrating with a post-run drink! "The hottest marathon in history", she writes, the rest you have to go and read for yourself!/sup>

@trevor.george: ''A hard run up the Tip Track''

trevorgeorge.jpg

@trevor.george is with @runningproject since the beginning and he is an ultrarunner. Here you can read one of his posts about trying to beat personal best on the same track. Vivid and expressive description of the run with two awesome photos!

@dailyrunner: ''Marathon Legends Series - #1 - Joan Benoit Samuelson''

joan.jpg

@dailyrunner felt that running community will appreciate some general knowledge about running and history of running including the great runners who paved the road. Here is the blog that tries to share the information and facts about the legendary long-distance runners. First one in series of blogs is about an awesome lady (Joan Benoit Samuelson), who not only achieved magnificent results and was first lady winner of the marathon on Olympics, but can be the role model for us in our later days! No need to vote for this one, just please read it - Joan deserves better recognition than she got!

Anyone can participate in this! You can vote even if you are not approved runner of the @runningproject.

But if you do run, you can do both: you can vote and become approved runner… read on!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED and BECOME an "Approved" Runner

The main milestone of the @runningproject now is to get as much STEEMPOWER as possible so the UPVOTE power will be growing day by day with the entrance of new members as well as because of the reinvestment of all the curation and the majority of the earnings produced on the post published by @runningproject.

In order to get enrolled you just need to do the following steps:

  1. Write a comment in this post or any other from @runningproject with a link to one of your posts about running, requesting its review.

  2. After checking your post, @runningproject will decide if you are or are not an "Approved" Runner. "Low quality" post will not be considered.

  3. If you are definitely an "Approved" Runner, @runningproject will reply to you asking to send 1SBD or 1STEEM as an "Enrollment Fee."

  4. You will be included in the "CURATION LIST"

The initial "Enrollment Fee" is entirely used as STEEM POWER. This fee, 1 SDB/STEEM, may increase in the future depending on the number of members and Market price.
Additional donations will be also fully invested in STEEM POWER.

My vote goes to @shazza!

I'm voting @shazza this week because it was really fun to follow along her marathon journey!

Despite I really enjoy all post but specially @dailyrunner post because its originality, I think that a Marathon is a Marathon, and @shazza 's post deserves to be the winner. My vote for @shazza !

We all have dreams.
But in order to make dreams come into reality,
it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication,
self-discipline, and effort.

Vote for your running author of the week 14!
@runningproject

I'd like to be part of the project, but I don't know if it's possible with my post : https://busy.org/@soluce07/le-defi-100-000-km-the-27-th-april

My vote goes to @shazza. Congrats for the marathon!

With good history and nice photos, this was a hard competition week. I still think that my vote this week goes to the first time marathoner @shazza.
