BLOG #64 : REVIEW MOVIE : DEAR JOHN

In my article, I will use some of the proverbs I like.
"People often say, the distance extinguishes a small flame and blows a great flame." The love between John and Savannah was never a small flame''
Have you ever been away from someone you love hundreds of kilometers and always looking forward to information from him? If you've ever been like thees, you'll probably find yourself in love with Dear John.

I will tell about this movie and I will say my feeling about it, I do not remember how many movies I watched.. In general, every movie also gives me the press separate statue. Each film gives me different emotions. My parents often scold me because I spend a lot of time watching movies and blogging. haha that's my hobby.

Dear John talks about John and Savannah's tearful romance. After leaving the army to visit his home, John met Savannah, a beautiful college student but extremely conservative. After diving into the sea to find the wallet, she accidentally dropped, John and Savannah quickly became friends. Then they realized that both of them fell in love with each other and decided to plan their marriage.

However, after 11.9, John had to return to the army and Savannah often wrote him letters beginning with "Dear John". Receiving her letters, John was so excited and thought of one day returning home with Savannah. However, time and distance are always challenging for promises. One day, John still received a letter beginning with "Dear John", but ended up with "Good Bye". ;(

I remember a story I met a lot in Vietnam. Men who are in good health, do not get sick, and do not go to college will have to go to military service. When they broke up with the boys, all the girls were very miserable and cried a lot. The challenge posed in this case is that the girl will have to wait for the man she loves for 2 years .. there are very few girls waiting, after 2 years the soldiers return and they wish marry her lover ..But their lover was married to another person and gave birth to a child.

The letters not only show the sadness, , the distant distance that John endured, it also shows deep affection between the two. The time it takes to write a letter and receive it as well as open it is wonderful. As you open the Christmas gift, he has to wait, wait anxiously for something, want to open the moment but half like to keep a long time feeling happy to receive the word of love from lover far A letter is something that she touches and writes herself, it smells of her. John could see the words she wrote. It's not just "her scent is still up and her memories ." John could breathe the scent from the letter, which was great.Savannah is really beautiful and she knows that. She is very strict but very wonderful and special, very smart and strong. Savannah is a good role model for young girls.But what I really liked about this character was her sincere interest, her ultra-kind lifestyle and her surroundings.
The way she cared about John's dad, the relationship that was not really good between his father, the way she cared for autistic babies, poor families ... was very natural.Maybe so John loved her so much.

I always thought, Savannah's kindness was what John loved her, intense love and sincere.
Perhaps because of her character, the film ends with sadness for both characters.
Love is the same, but people do not need only love to live, especially a girl like Savannah. She was engaged, and married. Not John, nor the guy flirting with her. Simply, the man loves her and needs her.

John decides to meet Savannah again after a long time, enough to calm him, after a broken relationship, after the departure of his dear father. There is nothing sadder about seeing the girl he loves, doing everything to save her husband, whom John never imagined. It would have been a pity if it was the one who was still pursuing Savannah, who had fought each other, quarreling with John ... The tears as John drove away from the Savannah was filled with helplessness and pain.
John, with all the love and respect for Savannah,He helped her husband have a short, fun time with her family. Both John and Savannah did what they needed to do, the way they met, fell in love, and broke up.

Dear John ends with the reunion of John and Savannah again, incidentally, as they have met.The words that make me like the most:

“I finally understood what true love meant…love meant that you care for another person’s happiness more than your own, no matter how painful the choices you face might be.”
“When you’re struggling with something, look at all the people around you and realize that every single person you see is struggling with something, and to them, it’s just as hard as what you’re going through.”

“I love you, not just for now, but for always, and I dream of the day that you’ll take me in your arms again.”

How is the film?

With Dear John, we really have the answer to the love that awaits, the love that can not come, nor the let go, it always exists in the hearts of two lovers. One love ends, There is no place for hatred, blame ... That is the end of a beautiful love.

Dear John was adapted from the comic novel of the same name by young writer Nicholas Sparks published in 2006. He is famous for the novels sentiment into films such as The Notebook, Message in A Bottle, A Walk To Remember, The Last Song ... Dear John won two nominations at the MTV Movie Awards 2010 for male, the lead actress.
