BLOG #42: REVIEW MOVIE : KOREA - BEDEVILLED
Today I will review a movie I saw this afternoon. This is a movie for ages 18 because of the sex scenes and horror. A Korean movie, I really like this movie, I want to introduce to everyone. ^^
Korean movies always portray human psychology, it does not have as much violence as the American film .. Korean movies are usually considered romantic films, and I only watch two films about Korean horror project that is; 'Train to Busan' and '“Bedevilled'-The movie that I said in today's article.
Borrowing the feminist story full of horror images, the film is about the heartless lifestyle, cowardice in society.

The film opens with the story of Hae Won, a depressed bank clerk with urban life, getting caught up in the murder that she is the only witness. She decides to go home and meet her childhood friend Bok Nam. Life here, an offshore island, away from civilized life, is almost isolated from the world. Hae Won gradually realizes the abomination surrounding a poor woman like Bok Nam.
Bok Nam as daughter-in-law and slave, all human rights are not available. The people in this island despise women, women are brutally beaten, women are forced to have sex. Bok Nam was raped by both brothers,..The inhabitants of this island are mostly women, but they are selfish and evil always contempt for women. They only have the other Bok Nam in the right spot because they are elderly, have wealth, have power.
A thriller in the form of the first revenge I see and Bedevilled left a strong impression. Hae Won is the protagonist of the first appearance. HaeWon's personality is set up like a cold and carefree woman who only thinks selfishly. The night before she witnessed the rape scene and then killed a girl on the street but then she chose to shut her mouth without half a word when being questioned at the police station. And if the viewer is still skeptical about her insensitivity, then the more and more will break out more. Bok Nam, on the contrary, is a real girl, a little bizarre but very friendly love nature. The director crafted the image of two completely opposite women: the one who had access to modern civilization had an icy heart, while the other was kept at a separate island- she is always kind and loving to others. But cruel men and women push her into being a murderer.
Before Hae Won arrived, Bok Nam still thought she was inferior, even more unaware of women's rights. Bok Nam loves the tranquility, softness, smooth skin of Hae Won - a girl she wants to be. Bok Nam is still eagerly awaiting Hae Won's arrival to get her out of this place. But Hae Won is too cowardly to face any truth. Haewon is a coward, a hated bitch, selfish.
Bedevilled in addition to being a horror film, the storyline and especially the ending can still make the content followers satisfy. Especially the Bok Nam pushed to the end, the golden brown light that was harsh, she was holding the scythe of death and swirling round a crazy picking the head of those who do not know what.
The film transforms personality from human to evil as the revenge of Park Chan Wook or Kim Ji Woon, but director Jang Cheol Soo's film made the story less painful and more regret. What made Bedevilled special was that although the world of the movie was so small, it still made viewers contemplate their own indifference, as well as the likeness of female killers such as Bok Nam.
This is where Bok Nam turns his head towards the sun. She realized that she had suffered a terrible life, her daughter had died of cruelty. She will kill all those who have hurt her and her daughter.
Seeing the bloody killings outside, I found myself gloating for Bok Nam and felt sad for her too. Bok Nam knows better than anyone, even if you kill him, she will still be alone.
The friendship between Haewon and Boknam is ambiguous. In some scenes clearly see a close connection between the two but then when the conflict and the peak of the film broke out, the wire was cut off. Haewon is actually more than a friend because she is a life saving salvage for the dark life of BokNam and her daughter before they are engulfed in a puddle by the name of the dead husband. But Haewon is always a fugitive. She runs away from Seoul, and now she runs away from the petition from her best friend (or her only friend). And perhaps this friendship is also a minor point of the film because at the end of the film, the two are somehow reconciled to the seemingly bloody chase that was before. But maybe also because in the last minutes of life, all hatred and jealousy are gone is meaningless.
Why is this the movie you should watch ?
BoK Nam
See this movie we will love BokNam .. She is very pitiful. From a young age she was a gentle girl and bullied by the boys in the village. In the end she had beheaded the wicked womans, she stabbed many knives until her husband died. She killed all those who deserve to die.She is always thirsty to escape her husband and those who always beat her.
She always wrote to her best friend, Hae Won. Wishing to have a good friend help her and her daughter to Seoul.
When Hae won to go to the island to take a break from work, Bok Nam was always interested in Haewon
She always begs Hae Won to take her to the city to hide, .. she always has to see her husband and prostitute sex, .. the film has the scene with chest and sex so every consider when watching. Night comes, Bok Nam is sexually tortured, she is not allowed to jealous with her husband. She always has to work hard s, she has healthy brown skin.
Haewon
She is cowardly and selfish .. from the moment she lived on the island with Bok Nam she was cowardly .. for protecting Haewon, bok Nam was humiliated by the boys in the village. . Haewon knows that, but she does not feel guilty about Bok Nam, seeing a close friend of her being raped - she's ignored.
When he came to the city, Haewon was rude, she was always scorned and suspicious of people. She saw a rape on the road, she was the only witness to accuse the guilty rape boys - she said she did not see anything..The rape girl's father cried and begged HaeWon to tell the truth, but she ignored it, letting the bad guys go.
Almost everyone watching this movie must also curse Haewon. For more than an hour of the first film we will be inhibited because Haewwon, we will want to rush to kill her.
Every letter Bok Nam sent, she dumped it in the trash and did not even read it.
She knows the reason why Bok Nam's daughter died.but once again said "I do not know" - and the police can not accuse the killer. FUCK !! :/
She is worse than a whore
The film has many moral values..
The film is 115 minutes long but leaves quite a lot of emotions and haunts...
Horror movies, there are still killings, still have killed people, .,,
But the most scary thing in the film is not Boknam who killed more than a dozen people ... it is the indifference, . That was so obvious through Haewon. She is the embodiment of a human element in today's society that the director-writer would like to mention in the film. Living selfish, selfless,leading to social change, bad guys want to do what to do.
"Society is getting worse, not just the bad guys, but the silence of good people."
boknam die in the arms of haewwon .. haewwon live and will torment bite whole life.
1. as selfishness and complaint pervert the mind, so love with its joy clears and sharpens the vision
2.Selfish persons are incapable of loving others, but they are not capable of loving themselves either.
3.Selfishness must always be forgiven you know, because there is no hope of a cure.
4.Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness.
5.Youth ends when egotism does; maturity begins when one lives for others.
6..Courtesy is only a thin veneer on the general selfishness.

To each their own, but I do not watch horror films. Mostly I do not watch them because they are dumb (to me), not because they are scary.
This is a psychological film with sex scenes, murder but moral value ,,, you should ^^
Well I like the sex scene parts and I always like to give a movie a chance, just in case. Do you have a link to the movie?

I tried watching the movie, but I can't watch a movie where a guy beats a woman. I want to jump through the screen and beat the shit out of him.
You will see the beginning of the movie. But halfway through the movie, she'll kill them all. 😂

Yes, in the past I watched a lot of dramas, but now I have not watched drama, it's too long, and I have less time. So now I only watch one episode. ;D
