BLOG #39 : REVIEW MOVIE :THE GODFATHER (PARTI,II)

in #films7 years ago

It has been 25 years since the third and final installment of the classic film adaptation of writer Mario Puzo passed, but its educational humanitarian values remain intact. Much of what we can be learned from the film, about the core values of the family and the principle of life

I know this movie through my dad, he very well thischx em famous movie bugs and impressive. My dad is tough and strict, so the movies he complimented, the movie was definitely awesome.

Based on the novel of the same name by writer Mario Puzo, The God Father - Godfather is considered America's best film of all time. A combination of veteran cast, excellent director ability, neat and tight script ... all made a movie almost perfect. It is also one of the most influential criminal and mafia films when even black social gangs ... mimic the way they behave, talk and dress like they do in movies. The film grossed $ 268 million worldwide.

Few films produced the second and achieved great success as the Godfather Part II. For film critics, part II of the movie is even better than the first part when continuing to tell about the life of Don Michael Corleone after he became the godfather and childhood of Don.

Vito Andolini was born in Sicily, a beautiful but unspoilt small island of Italy. Here one of the roots of the mafia, the people quietly live in misery by a series of small payments and terrorism from the local butcher. The 9-year-old Vito lost his whole family just because of this, where guns were power, small or submissive or dead. He fled to the US wharf - the shore of freedom and opportunity. In New York the boy took the name Vito Corleone, Vito did all the hard work to earn his living, thanks to his quick and brave, Vito quickly laid the foundations of the first bricks for the Corleone dynasty with the help of close friends, and from here the story of his life begins ...

The film was set in New York in the mid-1940s, where the underworld was manipulated by powerful mafia families. Among them, the Corleone family with Don Vito (Marlon Brando) leadership ranked in the "top".

Vito has three sons and the youngest daughter Connie (Talia Shire). Sonny (James Caan) is strong but hot, not a leader. The same is Fredo (John Calaze), the second child is weak and shy. Only Michael (Al Pacino), the youngest son is the most exalted. But this guy does not want to pursue a family business - govern the evil empire that his father struggled to build his life.

The young captain just wants to rest room with her lover Kay Adams (Diane Keaton) but sometimes life does not happen as expected. The Corleone family suddenly encountered a hitch when Don Vito was suddenly ambushed and assassinated to the point of "the ultimate birth." Although Don Vito did not lose his life, the attack weakened the Corleone family, leaving no one to cradle the "Godfather". Michael Corleone has become a savior, leading the family before the expansion of other mafia families. And gradually, over time and with the help of 'consigliere' (mentor) Tom Hagen (Robert Duvall) and his dear associates like Al Neri, Clemenza ... he became the new Godfather New York's underworld.

The notorious mafia Sammy Gravano once admitted: "I love The Godfather. This is the most honest description of the lives of guys like me. When I stepped out of the theater, I was completely stunned and many of my brothers and sisters had similar feelings. "
The Godfather is always at the forefront of the most favorite movie because it is considered the "Godfather" of the gangster film. This type of film is the "specialty" of the United States with all the essence of cinema. If the whole movie is purely bloody, violent or purgatory, then it's probably the same B-movie that one can see in the career of Steven Seagal or Jean Claude- Van Damme.

Gangster movies are not as simple as that, they are more in depth, giving the audience other emotions of good and evil when they place themselves in the context of the character, in the midst of the vicious circle of fate. Symbolic roles, costly conversations, dramatic details, or obsessive-compulsive scenes make men swoon for hours.

"Godfather," Vito, is one of Hollywood's greatest talents, while "Al Pacino," the youngest Michael, has won eight Oscars and one win. later on Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton or James Caan, Talia Shire have won or been nominated for an Oscar. Standing together as the most prestigious mafia family in America in the 1940s, they conquered all audiences.

I am most impressed with the character's statement, "I'll give him an irrevocable offer..

The music used in the movie takes viewers to many levels of emotions, from the passionate song "I Have But One Heart", to the immense sound of Michael Jackson's Speak Softly Love as a Valse of the superiors at the last scene.

“A man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man!” – Vito Corleone.

“I swear on the lives of my children, give a chance to redeem myself, and I will sin no more” – Micheal Corleone

Marlon Brando has a role to play. From a stiff, hoarse voice to a glamorous look, "the most masculine Hollywood man" expresses the spirit of a tycoon, causing "evil prince" Al Pacino though very export It's still not possible to catch up and can only shine brightly when Brando retreats backstage at The Godfather Part 2.

Vito is the role of Marlon Brando.

The story of Corleone's father reaches its peak as a strong doping for passionate people. Vito's father came from a poor family in Sicily and came to the United States in a ship full of immigrants to escape the hunt of a village mafia. Here, he struggled through all sorts of things before becoming a revered tycoon - a typical example of the "American dream".
Michael's son, witty and cold, heartless also has the title "Don Corleone" as his father. Mario Puzzo sums up the fate of Corleone's father and son by saying, "Men are not the great men they grew up to be." It is these models that reach the top - in so many different ways - that make The Godfather the book of choice for many generations of men.

Al Pacino plays Michael.
The Godfather contains the most intriguing, violent, engaging, poetic and "life" of art seventh. If you are passionate about movies and especially a man, this is definitely "a movie you can not deny."

What impressed me the most was the full three episodes of the film are the human values that make up the way a real man lived, how a family and relationships. as well as lessons between father and children.

Never discuss business of the family in the dining table and in front of young children - Vito's teachings to the children make me not forget, the table is where families spend and to talk to each other. Have fun and have fun with each other, work in the office, where there are no women and children, do not let the work involved in children, do not let the thinking malnutrition or the problem of adults destroys the innocence to the children.

Vito Corleone uses wisdom and all life experiences through years of young ups and downs to ensure the safety of children and families. He told his children how to treat their family and hide their personal feelings on the job: "Do not ever let outsiders know what you're thinking, it's going to hurt. "A person who does not spend time with his family will never be able to become a real man," or should always calmly consider not letting emotions dictate and obscure his reason. "Keep your friends close to you, but keep your enemies closer," "Dad spent a lifetime trying not to be careless, women and children can be careless, but men no, "" never hate your enemy, that will affect your judgment ". Men's masculinity for the lifestyle of many men.

Only once did he refuse to do business with other mafia wars, it was the opium business because he knew the drugs would degrade human morality, and the drug business would also He lost support from the authorities as well as the politicians. It was also destined to coincide with the subsequent transfer of power to The Don Michael (Vito's youngest son - who was extremely disgusted with the family's bloody business) when Vito was possessed by the clans. assassinated for not supporting the opium business. Fortunately, his health is still in critical condition and the enemy is waiting for the chance to finish him in the hospital, at which point Michael appears and helps his father escape with intelligence and recklessness.

The Don Vito's weaknesses and pain are from his children, the first was when Michael received the news that he shot his assassins and the second when he heard that his son was murdered by his predecessor. Vito's tearing and painful moments made me realize that he not only lost a son, but also made Michael really enter the path of no return. In Vito's heart, he really did not want Michael to go his own way knowing that after his death, Sonny and Tom Hagens would assume the responsibility of the family, but now things can not be saved. . Because of the constraints and the tragedy that no longer clings to his children, he has peace with his enemies, his concession is the stepping stone for all the preparation of a son's new coming up.

By the time the old father entrusted his life to Michael, his destiny had shifted to another direction,From a gentleman he becomes cruel, more cruel than his father.

The last moment of peaceful life of the old goddess in love with her grandson.
After all, the last thing his father wanted to do until his death was for Michael's benefit, he wanted to make up for the pain and want his son strong enough to survive and protect the family in the world filled, this danger. At the last moments of his life, the venerable Founding Fathers left a vital tip to help Michael understand who the real enemy and traitor is, to purify the underworld and become Don Michael Corleone, the new owner of the clan. He quietly walked beside his grandson in the garden, perhaps the greatest comfort of Vito when he still had his beloved next to him.
