If you are just beginning your day and trying to figure out what you will have for your breakfast or if you are getting ready to prepare dinner, this recipe can be an idea for your meal. With eggs and asparagus you get your proteins and vitamins which your body needs. Although this recipe is vegetarian you can if you are a meat eating person compliment it with some fried bacon. Bon apetit!

Ingredients:

10 asparagus
4 eggs
Pinch salt
Dash pepper
1 tbsp parmesan

Yield: 2 servings

Preparation:

Heat water in a small pot and bring to a boil.

Slice each asparagus into a few slices and place them in the boiling water. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes.

Heat water in a pot and poach in the eggs, cook them for 8 – 10 minutes.

Remove the eggs from the water with the slotted spoon and place them on the asparagus.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
