Easy Tasty Snack - Leek, Garlic And Olive Oil Mix On Toasted Bread

What is great about cooking is that every day there can be something different on the menu. We have at our disposal millions of recipes. All we have to do is choose one we did not have before and prepare it. This recipe is sure to land on the list of your favorite recipes. Bon apetit!

Ingredients:

1 cup sliced leek
2 cloves garlic
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp lemon juice
Pinch of salt
1 baguette with seeds

Yield: 2 servings

Preparation:

Slice the leek into small slices. Peel and dice the garlic.

Heat vegetable oil in the pan, place in diced garlic and sauté for 3 minutes over low – medium heat stirring. Add leek and sauté for another 5 - 8 minutes stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat and let it cool down.

In a small bowl mix olive oil, parsley, lemon juice and salt. Add leek and garlic than stir the mixture.

Cut the baguette into 4 parts lengthwise and widthwise and toast the slices.

When the baguette is toasted spread the mixture over toasted slices of baguette.

Preparation:10 minutes
Cooking: 10 minutes
