Back Acres: How To Make Beeswax Candles With Citronella
Over the winter my wife traded two wreaths - that she had crafted - for two jars of honey and a plateful of Beeswax. The trade was detailed in this post: Barter System: Scored Two Large Jars of Ontario Honey and a Plate Full of Beeswax. After a recent successful trade with another one of her wreaths for a small bottle of citronella essential oil - my wife made five candles with the beeswax and citronella oil - while I carefully documented the process
GREAT trade! And what a fabulous way to use the citronella! Keep the bugs away and being able to enjoy some time outdoors all the while knowing you made this insect repellent candle.

Wildlife Of Mto wa Mbu Village- African Stories Entry 8
My time in Mto wa Mbu wasn't all spent in the clinic doing service work. I did go out and explore the area occasionally. The village is thriving with wildlife and can sometimes be a nuisance to the clinic and the villagers. Every morning monkeys and baboons run amok and steal food and other items that are left outside. Then right after sunrise they are chased out of the village
@derangedvisions locked eyes with a baboons and could feel the hair on their neck stand up. Come along for an adventure of a lifetime in this post; and see how cute baby baboons are up close.

Hunting Kona Treasures
So my friend let me keep her Jeep after taking off for Maui, and I decided to do what she recommended. Jump off the cliff of the southern most point in the US. I got there and I took a wrong turn. Apparently there was a green sand beach there too. The road became more and more undone and I decided that I would walk the rest of the way.
Maui is a beautiful place to visit and explore so take a look at some of the spectacular views @poodai was able to capture on this solo journey and hiking excursion recently.

Just So You'll Know
Then out of the blue, the Suburban (which was very slightly ahead of me) turns right,
from the LEFT lane, in front of my white KIA Soul... I hit my brakes and swerved as much as I could without hitting the concrete storm drain, but it didn't stop the impact.
He didn't stop at first, so I was going to follow so I could at least get a pic of his tag
@jerrytsuseer had a bad day! I bet anyone else who's ever been in a car crash can relate. Head over and wish him well. Luckily he wasn't hurt.
NEWS
We will be sending out some comments with the Tier 0 upvote. We don't think many of the members are aware that it is really easy to move up to a higher tier by showing Qurator some support. Let's hope some of the older members can move up in tiers and we can make the whole community a bit stronger. =)

Tier Updates Finalized
Tier updates are out and finalized. You can check out the post HERE.
The short version is that Tier 1 and Tier 2 requirements have changed a bit. Please review them.
A separate account has been created and 26 000 SP has been delegated to it. @qurator-tier-1-2 will be upvoting Tier 1 and Tier 2 members.
A large amount of SP was undelegated from @qurator to accommodate for the new account, BUT the upvote weights have been adjust so they should balance out. Just have to see how the Voting Power holds up with the big change.

Steemauto Curation Trail
We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.
Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprize for a lucky trailer. =P

Are the elite tiers (1000+ SP) separated from the regular tiers? If I'm Tier 5 and I ever manage to delegate 1000 SP, will I get an upvote for Copper and another one for Tier?
The Elite Tiers are a continuation we added recently, but with higher delegations required. If you would delegate 1000 SP you would jump from T5 to Copper (T6)
