1 Discover Purpose:
This is why a lot of singles get taken advantage of and why their partner makes them feel they are doing them favours just by dating them. You need to have a sense of direction in life. You need to know what you want in life, only then can you know the kind of man or lady you want for your life. With a clear sense of purpose and direction for your life, you won’t just accept any love that comes your way.
Love yourself. Don’t sell yourself short and don’t give a discount either.
We sometimes accept the kind of love that comes our way because we feel the need to feel a void and the fear of being lonely. With a purpose-driven attitude, you won’t just accept anyone that comes your way because you value yourself so much to have someone come into it and mess up all you have spent years to build. Choosing right is good and it can only be influenced when you have a clearly defined purpose for your life.
No man can complete you, just as no lady can complete you. You are not imperfect. You are not broken so you don’t need fixing. You only need your spouse to compliment you. What is your purpose in life? What do you think the world would miss if you were not born? How would you love to be remembered? Let these words be a driving force for you to discover yourself and do the right things. Being single doesn’t mean you are broken and it doesn’t mean another human would be the one to complete you. If you don’t have a direction for your life, you will attract any kind of people and you will have repeated experience of heartbreak because you will think you need another human to complete you.
Discover your purpose. You are in this world for a reason, so find out.
