Relational Intelligence - Smart.
I wrote a series about relational intelligence a few days ago and I don’t intend to repeat most of the things I already shared. I will speak from another perspective on this issue, and as usual, your contribution is highly welcomed.
A lot of people need to act smarter in their relationship. The warning signs are always there, the tough decisions are always there, and there is an aspect where you need to be smart to judge things not only from the way your heart leads the emotions but with the way things are clearly presented in your head.
Malachi 2:15b (NIV)
“…So be on your guard, and do not be unfaithful to the wife of your youth.”
The only way a marriage can work is when you follow the producer’s manual. Imagine buying a gadget and you failed to read the instructions then you find issues with how to operate it, you risk damaging it or not using that gadget to its optimal potential. When the purpose of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable. To fully understand what marriage is all about, then you need to ask the producer; God and how do you do this? Read His Word.
A lot of people think because a pastor has the anointing, he should naturally get it right in his marriage. I say no to that. Whether you are a pastor; male or female, if you don’t follow the producer’s manual on how you are to go about your marriage, it will fail.
Marriage doesn’t respond to anointing. If you don’t follow how to go about it, it will crash.
