Daily Dose Reloaded (#68)
(no words but deeds!)
will you come to the stadium
to the club of red and white
find a place out in the sun
where you sit so comfortably
look! they're coming onto the field!
a cheer from a thousand throats
yes, you will be amazed!
when the all-star team will play
then you will always hear
the song of feyenoord
hand in hand, comrades
hand in hand for feyenoord 1
no words but deeds!
long live feyenoord 1
No, this is not a new poem by me, it is my soccer clubs song, translated specially for you. Now you ask: why? Well, this evening we won the cup! And the city has exploded with joy! Just wanted to share that with you. :D
Now on to the poetry, we had only few entries today, i guess everyone was out enjoying spring and who could blame them? So here we go!
The number one spot for today goes to @ange.nkuru, who dreams of the ocean, he is nowhere near but it doesn't stop this poet dreaming of it!
"But it's all a mirage And I'm nowhere close, Miles away from the shore"
Second place today goes to @vegaron with his poem dedicated to all mothers and the love and care they give!
"She will stop at nothing to give us the best. For a mother's love is great, greater than this earth."
My last pick for today is by @vuds, she is on a quest to write a poem in all 55 possible styles of poetry and this time she tries her hand at a sonnet!
"My drapery follows my body's lines and I hear a swish every time I turn"
