Let it Cry

My heart
is silenced at night.
It rests asleep
Under the moonlight.

Tears frozen,
numb and cold
from the nights chill.

It is in the light
of the day,
under the heat
of the sun,
it roars awake.

It is then I have
no control,
but to let it cry.
