A long overdue update on POCKET-Talks
POCKET-Talks is a Discord server I've created for people who wish to chat about POCKET (obviously) which stands for Proof Of Concept Electronic Token.
POCKET is a Steem blockchain subtoken system created by @biophil as an experiment for the idea of Steem subchains.
To know more about the technical aspect and the philosophy behind it, you can start by reading the POCKET Announcement post.
For a development layman such as myself, POCKET is first and foremost another token toy for the crypto-enthusiast that I have become.
The POCKET-Talks forum doesn't represent POCKET in any official manner, I only started it for the purpose of having an outlet for the community that has emerged out of interest for POCKET.

Here are the new features that were never announced on Steemit since the last Announcing a new Discord: POCKET-Talks publication and the subsequent post meant (in part) as a follow-up.

This place used to be dedicated to conversations between POCKET holders trying to assess a price for the token. It has now become some kind of a second # general channel, but for community-oriented discussions (a good example would be the conversation started by @jackmiller on his post: POCKET TOKENS and SMTs - TO FORK or NOT TO FORK? That Is The Question!).

Before being called # general-community the first channel listed above was named # consensus-proposal. But since POCKET made its appearance on BitShares, we now have a marketplace where a price can be decided through supply and demand. Thus, trade on BitShares, talk about it on # pocket-on-bitshares.

We do the chatting there but in order for your ear to be entertained as well, you must also click on the voice channel bearing the same music-by-amybot title completely at the bottom of the list of channels on the Discord server down below.

Finally, amybot is not the only one of the automated species to have joined the POCKET-Talks family. There is also Mee6, who's there to award new levels to the most engaged of our community's members and to provide some kind of help, which is simply triggered by typing the !help command. Mee6 will then respond by providing a list of all of its other commands.
