There was a time…
… you were allowed to smoke in public places. I’m old enough to remember those times (but I was young enough back then to not smoke… yet 😉)
So when I found that ashtray on a wall in a (not used anymore) public building I felt a bit nostalgic… Let’s call it unhealthy nostalgia 😊
Anyway, it’s strange how such an everyday object can evoke such feelings...
and the odd looking but in some places, unique sculpture-like things for butts out front.
I remember those days, too. Eheh! 😂

hahah i know what u mean pixel :) i get scared everytime i travel by aeroplane and still being the "Not Smoking" lightning sign inside... i wonder how many years the plane has!? :D hahahh enjoy the weekend and the soups!!
