North American Friday: Colours of Yellowstone — Steemit

North American Friday: Colours of Yellowstone

in photography •  3 months ago

Yellowstone National Park is famous for a reason and was my unmatched highlight when I visited the US and Canada in 2011. The colours produced by volcanic activities are out of this world!

1/200s; 5mm; f/9.0; ISO 80

I have also submitted this photo to the North American Friday contest by @czechglobalhosts.

This is just insane @jpphotography, it looks like glass.

It is indeed, surreral, can't imagine how it feels in person

How beautiful! I've always loved the combination of blue and orange.

Just came across this from @photofriend, was this the Grand Prismatic Spring? Very nice shot!

I visited Yellowstone many years ago, so I don't remember where I took this photo, but the landscape in Yellowstone is unreal!

Indeed, it is one of the most alien and unusual landscapes I've ever laid eyes on. Did you get to see Old Faithful erupt while you were there?
