Daily Curator #1 (29).jpg

Welcome to the 40th Edition of Photo Friday - Hosted by @qurator!

Below you will find some unbelievable images captured by your fellow Qurites from all over the world! See what adventures they have shared with all of us! Don't forget to vote for your favorite and if you'd like to nominate your own image for next week's competition, make sure to comment #nominate below.

Each Friday we will select 5 Qurites and feature their photography in our Daily Qurator post. Each Qurite featured in this post needs to comment with their photo featured in this post. The user with the most upvotes on their comment (not money value) will win a Tier 5 membership for 30 days!. Only comments from Qurator members will count. The votes will be counted when this post reaches payout.

Want to take part in Photo Friday? NOMINATE! After you upvoted your favorite photo!

DO

Want to take part in the next Photo Friday? Sure you can! Simply comment in the comment section with #nominate.

We will then consider your account and look over your feed for any Photography related posts for the upcoming Photo Friday

DO NOT:

Post links and/or pictures of your most recent posts. We will not choose them. Why? Well, we want the nominees to also benefit from being in the Photo Friday Edition. If you give us a link now and we use it for the next issue of Photo Friday your post has most likely reached payout. That means no extra upvotes... We will select the most recent posts from your feed.

So instead, just include#nominatein your comment of this post (don't forget to vote for your favorite photo first).
We will take it from there and consider your feed for the next Photo Friday.

We hope this can spark some more interest in the photography community within Qurator. Hopefully to get more users to visit photography related blogs and appreciate your photography. Hopefully there will also be some nice rewards on your comment in this post.

We have made it easy for all participants by providing the links to their photos that they can just copy and paste into the comment section of this post to officially enter the competition!

PLEASE NOTE, ONLY THOSE FEATURED IN THIS POST MUST PASTE THE LINKS BELOW IN THE COMMENT SECTION. POSTING THE LINK IF IT IS NOT YOURS COULD RESULT IN A FLAG.

Insect- Butterfly Swallowtail

Insect big or small, irritating or beautiful for you to decide.
Insects in and around the garden always fun to photograph some taken with my older camera

The Itsy-Bitsy Spider crawling across their web; perhaps heading off to catch its next prey. Maybe it's just getting some sunshine... either way, @joanstewart shares an awesome image in this post. And what's that design on the spider's back? Interesting!

Hutt Lagoon a.k.a Pink Lake, Australia

I was on my way from Geraldton to Kalbarri and I knew I wanted to stop at Hutt Lagoon. Because, well, I'm a girl and like many girls, I do like a bit of pink.
But I didn't expect the lagoon to be THIS pink! The colour is so vibrant when the sun shines on the water! It is amazing how pink water can be! Someone asked me if I killed a lot of people to turn it into this colour. But of course my sweet Steemians, I would never! It's just the high level of salinity that gives the lagoon this unusual colour

A pink lake? How is that possible?
Imagine what you would think if you viewed this in person. According to @r00sj3, the lake is this color due to high levels of salinity; the quantity of dissolved salt content in the water.

Macrophotography- Dragonfly

Went for a short walk after a recent rain and found this patient dragon fly. He flew away a couple times in the beginning but landed back on the same branch once he saw that I mean no harm and just wanted to admire his beauty. Thank you little one

#eyeofthemind has captured a fabulous close-up of this little dragonfly. Is he smiling for the picture? Look at the detail of the dragonfly's face; every little detail is visible.

North American Friday: Colours Of Yellowstone

Yellowstone National Park is famous for a reason and was my unmatched highlight when I visited the US and Canada in 2011. The colours produced by volcanic activities are out of this world

Look at these vibrant colors; and the steam coming off this landscape! We've always heard Yellowstone is a hot spot, and this image just proves those words.

Flora In Italy - Plants, Flowers And Shrubs For Gardens By Adriano

Laurustine is a foamy shrub with persistent, decorative leaf leaves and fruit. Leaves of laurel are dark green and can be of different sizes. The plant has a rapid growth, reaching a maximum of three meters tall. Flowers of the plant are small, white or pink, insignificant, the fruits are some small, dark blue barks that persist in the winter on the plants. Prefers acidic soils, has moderate demands on water and light

The Laurustine may be a large scrub, but look at these beautiful fruit berries that grow on it. Are they blueberry-like fruits? Wonder what they taste like?

Good luck to all the entries! May the best photo win!
