After yesterday's short, but very beautiful sunrise with the illuminated mountain peaks on the Vršič Pass (Sunrise and Clouds / Sonnenaufgang und Wolken) I drove further into the Soča Valley. |
Nach dem gestrigen kurzen, aber sehr schönen Sonnenaufgang mit den beleuchteten Berggipfeln auf dem Vršič Pass (Sunrise and Clouds / Sonnenaufgang und Wolken) bin ich weiter in das Soča Tal gefahren. |

Right at the beginning of the valley I found this place. The riverbanks are already overgrown with spring-like lush greenery. | Gleich zu Anfang des Tales habe ich dann diesen Ort gefunden. Die Flussufer sind bereits frühlingshaft mit üppigem Grün überwachsen. |

I don’t know where Frodo and Gendolf hid, but even without them, this place looks like a place where fabulous creatures live. Also, the first photo reminded me of an engraving, which depicted Atlantis. The similarity is gaining momentum when you look at the rounded shape of this hollow and at the river that washes the stone island from all sides. As always, you, my Dear friend @Johannpiber, give us magnificent landscapes that are masterfully photographed with your able hand and watchful eye!

I love these landscapes and valleys, and I really enjoy to be there whenever I can, but I have never seen more than beautiful, sometimes stunning spectacular landscapes. You see jellyfish in the sky, dragons and hippos, you see beautiful fantastic places ... you are the best and I can nothing do, but thank you every day :)

Thank you :) when I was there last time, there was not so much green, especially I haven't seen these smaller plants and the moss.
I would have stayed longer, but I had to be at home before midday, but next time I'll take some time to relax and photograph :)

Yes, it has changed so much since I was there a few weeks ago. Next time I want to hike a bit through the valley to the source of the river.
That sounds like a fun hike to do, how long would it be?
From the place, where I photographed, maybe 1 - 1 1/2 hours, but the whole path is about 7 or 8 hours hiking, I think.
That’s a good hike I used to love hikes that a good length to get both exercise and fresh air
I am planning this hike along the river, and another hike to 2 small lakes in the near, but I have to wait for better weather.
