Der Schmetterling ist mir bisher eigentlich noch nie so richtig aufgefallen. Daher kann ich nicht sagen, ob er bei uns öfter vorkommt ;)
Ich werde aber meine Augen nach ihm offenhalten und demnächst vielleicht wieder einen Beitrag machen.

I don't know, if it's the same butterfly on both photos, but maybe, because I have taken the photos on the same meadow within a few minutes.

It is really difficult to capture little insect but you got it nicely Marbled White photography.
Sometimes I am lucky, and a butterfly stays for a while on its place, and it's not too windy. Then I can take nice and quite sharp photos of the insect.

OK, your forecast for yesterday was better than the one for today, because it has been raining all night long and the rain didn't stop until midday.
After an overcast afternoon the sun is shining now, and it is warm outside. There's no thunderstorm, and I don't think, we will get any storms later :)

Of course, it was luck, that this little beauty sat on the flower and didn't move. There was also no wind, and so I could take some really sharp photos - thank you, that you like them, @janton 😊

Very true. Then I guess a photographer has to always be alert and ready to take a photo at a second's notice.
Right :) I always look for photo opportunities, and I miss many photo opportunities, because when you are driving by car, it is not always possible to stop when you want to ;)
Sometimes I also think, that I will get a shot later, but this never happens, because some situations will later never be the same, as when you see it first.
