Five Beautiful Buildings in Montreal #3 - Old Mills & Houses
Just like the following historic constructions being kept in mind by the collective memory, I hadn't forgotten about the 5 BB in Mtl series either.
It's been at least two months since I haven't posted on the topic, and it's not because I lack this type of material to share, but I guess it's just a combination of circumstances causing that I didn't come around to continue contributing on Steemit with one of my favorite personal content.
Today's photographies take us much further in time than the first two installments.
The youngest of those buildings is almost two hundred years old!
It should also be noted that the two windmills shown down below are among the very few last eighteen still standing in the province of Quebec!
If you are interested, you can find the complete list of windmills in Quebec on Wikipedia.

The good doctor is lonely over in punland, though.

Yeah!!
Beautiful pictures! There are so many hidden gems in Montreal to discover! The mill of Sault-of-Recollet is truly a sight to see, it will be in our to-do list in Mtl for shure!! LaSalle is the only one we have visited, the mill is iconic and represented on the villeLasalle flag. Thank you for this beautiful post! Can't wait to see more!👍
Thank you! Agree! The mill of Sault-of-Recollet is right next to where I live, I'll make sure to show you someday. We could go get a coffee, they have a charming cafe beside the little waterfall there!
Thanks for my trip down memory lane!
My pleasure!
