Cool things in this wonderful program

Photoshop is a program whose capabilities are so vast that many of them I still discover for myself again. Recently, I slid my mouse over the interface menus and came across the command "Match color ...".

Before that, I just somehow did not notice this menu item ... Which, by the way, is in quite a noticeable place and is surrounded by such items, which are completely understandable to me.
There is desaturate, Replace color ... and Equalize. In fact, you need both Equalize and Replace color ... you need to talk separately, but this is another time. And today "Match color ..." ...

Match color...

The team is interesting ... There is a whole interface.

The command works with the active layer or even with a selection on the layer. If you do not need to take into account the selection - there is a tick "Ignore Selection ...".
Next - image settings ... Here and "Brightness" and "Color intensity" and another parameter "Fade" ... Which I do not know how to translate, but the essence of it is that it allows you to limit the degree of impact of the first two parameters. Probably you can say that "fade" in this case is "loosen".
In addition, the team has the opportunity to get a tincture of the color of the image relative to another picture. For this there is a window "Source:", i.e. a source. Here you can select an image from the list of those that are open in Photoshop. If the picture has several layers - you can choose from which layer to take the color gamut.

This is quite interesting. You can equate different pictures to the same denominator. And if you make a selection in the picture, then very quickly you can replace the color of the selected zone, turning it into the one that will be in the source image ... or on the selection in the source image. I recommend everyone to try work. I think this technique can be very convenient. By combining the selection with all sorts of "magic" means and choosing the examples for photography, you can quickly and effectively achieve results!

In the meantime, here's an example .. It's a little contrived ... But still it will illustrate the possibilities of "Match color ..."
There are two pictures with different colors.

Choose our command:

The dialog is opened:

Select one of the images in the source ... The color of the active image changes immediately. With the help of the mood, we can change the exposure rate. Here is an example of bringing one image to another.

And vice versa:

Frankly, I think this method is interested and I will work with it, study and search for the application.

Hope it's useful.
