Introduction | 简介

It was raining and cold outside yesterday. We do get more rain in November and December in Singapore. Sometimes, I think I feel hungry more on a rainy day and soup is always good on a cold rainy day.

昨天下雨又有点寒冷。 11月和12月的新加坡都比较多的雨天。 有时，我认为我在一个下雨天会容易感到饥饿，而在寒冷的雨天喝点热汤总是个好主要。

Here are a couple of photos I took when I was at Marina Square hitting the peak lunch hour after 12 noon. The photo were taken through a glass window and the first shot was at an angle to the glass which is why you see the dirts on it.

这里有几张照片拍于滨海广场打中午12点之后。当时是午餐高峰时间。这都是通过一个玻璃窗拍摄的，而拍第一张时镜头与玻璃有一定斜度，所以会看到上面的污迹。

Looking for food | 找东西吃

The food court there is big but there were many tables occupied already. There a stall in the food court with its own tables and there are still ample seatings. This the Lam’s Signatures.

那里的食阁楼相当大，但有很多桌子已经有人了。在食阁有一个摊位，有自己的桌子，还有充足的座位。 那就是“阿南经典”。

Normally, what I have there is either the minced pork noodles or abalone noodle. As I mentioned it was a cold day and I saw they have watercress soup with noodle. So, I decided to order this.

通常，我是点个肉挫（肉碎）面或鲍鱼片面。 正 好当天寒冷的雨天使我喝点热汤，而他们有个西洋菜汤和面。 所以，我决定点了。

Now, we eat | 吃吧

The red bits in the soup are wolfberries or goji berries as @amy-goodrich prefers to call it.

汤中的红点是枸杞。

Some meat balls in the soup made from fish and pork.

汤里还有鱼丸和猪肉丸。

Be sure to mix the sauce in the noodle before you eat.

在吃之前一定要把面和酱捞好。

Now, eat mee. Yes, ”mee” is how we call noodle in Hokkien or Teochew which are dialects of Chinese. Specifically, this type of mee is the mee pok - flat noodle.

吃吧。这类面我们通常用福建话或潮州话称为“面薄”

After lunch | 吃完罢

After lunch, I went out and took more photos of Marina Bay and the Central Business District. Have a look at the foggy state and see how it makes the surrounding look mysterious.

吃完午餐后，我出去拍了更多的滨海湾和中央商业区的照片。看看雾云盖顶的状态使周围有一种神秘的感觉。
