Norwegian landscapes: Muruvika - magical shore by the fiord.
Hi there Friends!
Some older but very beautiful gallery - shots taken during only one evening sunset.
Again, great example how fast lighting conditions and colours can change during the sunset time.
From the early stage of golden light to blue hour time - with fast moving clouds around and dynamic shore line creates hundreds of great frames in such a short time - hard to capture all. Imposible when YOu use long exposure time and tripod :).
Really strong wind and big waves on the water made the atmosphere smell like sea water. Love such extreme eather and light!
Some of the shots I took using "standard" settings - looks also great. But most of presented frames are the effect of long exposure technicque.
That day I was using my ND1000 filter but round one - really not comfortable tool when You have to change the position and frame, taking off and on this kind of filter is really irritating and take too much time!
Long time ago I made a big post about the place - it was one of the first posts from "Travel Norway" series. The unique and bautiful are all the rock formations and textures of the shore. Colorful stones, veins of different minerals, geometric cracks... This make the place really great for such photography.
After red, pink and orange colours disapeared, blue start to be dominating in the surrounding, create another magical time in photography called The Blue Hour.
Love the connection between deep blue sky and water with green elements of vegetation and sea weeds on the shore.
There are some outdoors which You will never forget - this sunset shooting will be one of those!
