Photocircle 6th Weekly Round-Up [15.06.2018]
Hello Steemians!
This week has been one of the exciting week for the Photocircle project, all of you might have noticed the launch of the community bot, the @photocirclebot. The community bot is still on its early release and under development. We have future plans in making it a reliable companion for the team in providing a good service to the photography community.
We went through all the response to the bot and acknowledge all of your feedback about it. We are glad that even though it had some technical error, you have stayed positive about it and sent us your feedback in a constructive way.
Now, for the purpose of this post...
We have noticed that on this week more & more authors / photographers are participating to the daily Top 10 Contributors contest. In comparison to the previous weeks, our selection of winners have more diversity and are more competitive. To choose 10 winners for each category requires much deliberation to come up with the Top 1 contributor that will earn the most prize (2sbd).
While scouting the submissions to the #photocircle tag, we are also noticing new type of photography styles that are not under any of the current nine (9) categories. One of the styles that we noticed is the ”Abstract photography”, we might consider adding it to the contest theme. For now, we will be upvoting it since we find it creative, beautiful and worthy to be rewarded.
For those who are keen about Abstract photography, feel free to tag it to #photocircle until we reach a certain amount of participation and is substantial enough to open a new category for the daily Top 10 contests.
To begin with the round-up, let me invite everyone to welcome the Top 10 Contributors for the week!
That sums up the 6th weekly round-up of the Photocircle Top 10 Contributors. To reiterate, I encourage everyone to visit the posts of the featured authors and show them your support.
Each author that is featured on this post will be garnering one (1) Photocircle Top 10 Badge, all accumulated badges will be counted on the 16th of June 2018 (Saturday) and the author with the most Top 10 badges will win the first (1st) Photocircle Hall of Fame Badge!
Stay tuned for the next round-up!
With appreciation,
Photocircle team
I am strongly in favor of adding abstract photography.
We're glad to hear that from you, I still recall your abstract photos having animals as your subject. It's really impressive and mind boggling. We're looking forward to be opening this new category as well. Cheers!
Thank you! Glad you liked my work :)
You're welcome @grizzabella :) we're looking forward to next week's curation. See you then :)
