Pay It Forward Week 18
This week I have been getting acquainted with some lovely folks from the @freewritehouse community.
Each day @mariannewest gives a one word prompt. The challenge is to write a post in five minuets based on that word. It is fun to write and a great exercise for people like me who overthink the post.
The real fun is reading what everyone else wrote. The diversity is amazing and a great example of the talents to be found on the platform.
There are all sorts of other fun things going on over at @freewritehouse I am just beginning to investgate myself but highly reccomend checking it out.
Both of my features this week were people I met from the 5 Min. Freewrite.

Thank you! Some of those people doing the free writes just blow me away. I love the ones who manage to do a whole story. The fiction writers are really fun to read.

Thank you very much. I don't pay much attention to the winning. I do enjoy the opportunity to feature new people every week. I meet so many interesting bloggers from visiting the other features too. I am just very slow at getting to them all.
That's quite an achievement in itself, getting to meet new people with each possible opportunity is a good thing. being able to get to a lot of people and see their content can give us a better idea about what we actually are capable of and what's happening around. If you are getting to enough bloggers and finding them interesting too then being slow to get back to them isn't a problem i guess
Oh I never ever worry about speed of reply. I have friends on here who only do replies a couple times a week. They happen to be some of my favorite people. I think once you make a friend they won't forget you over time.
The real achievement is in adding those type to your circle. Thanks a lot of time talking to a lot of people not all of them stick the ones who do are worth the effort.
The great thing is there are tons of projects on Steemit centered around meeting new people. The thing is finding time and choosing activities.
That's true, once you become friends you do not forget each other for a long time but staying in touch in a plus, real ones wont forget you anyway.
Being new to the platform, am getting to learn the things here. You can engage with a lot of people but the ones who matter will only stay for long, same is the case in real life too.
Have been to some projects and have met some very good people out of whom some are likely staying for long. Agreed to every bit of what you have said. You are surely experienced in it
Oh no not really experienced at all still very much a newbie here. It is just that I read a lot about it, think about it a lot then experiment. It takes me a long time to figure out things.
I love that there are so many different ways to grow an account here. I hope to try out as many as possible.
That's true, platform makes us learn and think a lot. Thinking and then experimenting could make us progress the right way.
keep us updated with whatever handy you come across, I would love a helping hand to progress

😁😁😁 I dream about steemit😆 I wrote a list of weekly bucket list and happy about it, but when I woke up this morning due to this lovely breakfast by my stalker😊
I forgot everything from my dream and I don't know what to do on Steemit today except for trying to answer all the replies😯 as flat and simple as I can.

That could make me forget for just a moment. I think stalker just wants you distracted so as to catch up.
Hahaha... my stalker never care about engagement with too many people, he's quite satisfied to knew who am I talking about😂
It is shredded cheese.. the cake made from purple yam or sweet potatoes flour😊
Wow that actually sounds very interesting. Like making cake good and healthy. I make a cake with bran flour nuts raisins pineapple and spice. My version of healthy cake 😂

Hi there! always a rare treat to see you fluttering about. Really gotta organize my Steem time so I keep up with everyone better.
I made a quick steemit stop this morning when I should be making coffee and breakfast. I do have to get my day started though. Busy busy day, and have to enjoy Sunday before the work week starts again. Hope you are well! Hope Papa Bear is getting stronger by the day. Have a great Sunday!

When the smoke alarm goes off that means it is probably done.
Yahhh, too late. I decided to cook corn for the party last weekend. I forgot about it and was blaming my mom for using a power tool outside and stinking up the house inside. It turned out to be my corn that was burning, not her gas-fueled power tool. Hehe. I plan on making corn again today. Wish me luck! :)
Yeah... much luck for sure. But now I am intrigued you must come back when you have time and tell me more. What about this tool and what on earth was she doing? my only gas powered tool is a chain saw.
I have a lot of power tools so now I wonder what cool thing she may have that I am missing.
It’s just a leaf blower. I spent the morning cleaning the deck the old fashioned way with a broom and dustpan. Mom decided a leaf blower would do a better job. Ohhh wait, same exact tool Dave used in his COM post. 😂

Oh dear we better not tell anybody that one. Somehow moms and BJs just do not go together no matter how corrupted you may become.

That's a good post in about 5 minutes, where I would take nothing less than a couple of hours for a regular post, thank you for the advice and the inspiration :)
I agree I have been seeing some really good ones. Makes me hate to say how much time I have been taking to post. I am going to practice this and see if I can post more often. I will keep an eye out for yours.

Thank you very much! I try to do the Pay It Forward post every other week. It is one of my favorites. Love being able to feature some people. I also enjoy visiting all the blogs even on the weeks I don't enter.

Yes it is cool thing about this amazing platform being able to know fellow steemians. To encourage work done. to grow a community very easily. Specially working under projects or initiative taken gives wider opportunity building wider range of community.
I agree! Every day I meet amazing new people here. Wish my vote power was more for all the deserving people. I am working on that part. In the meantime there are tons of great communities to support.
That's really nice of you. Otherwise not only voting power factor people sometimes fail to give the time to help others. Yes, now lots of good communities can be seen as worthy of engagement. Keep up the spirit. steem on!

It was because I won the danielsaori delegation contest last week. It was really fun to be able to vote for more of the features. I will be back to the long wait for sp to go up next round.
