As one of the 5 judges, and as an original artist also, I aim to represent the best original artists in this contest from our wonderful Steemit community. I am keeping my ears open for cover artists as well, don't worry but creating an original song is indeed impressive, especially if executed and performed well. Best of skill and performance to you all next week. This week was filled with so many wonderful artists, even amongst the high amount of entries, and there were still many talented performers who entered, so forgive me if I didn't list you, I definitely heard everyone's entries. You are a talented songwriter as much as you are a genuine and skilled performer and guitarist. Without hesitation it is clear to see the amount of passion and emotion you pour into your music to express the inner facets of your soul. It is a joy to see you lay out all the details of your refined artwork for our listening ears. The way you lean and sway with the chord strums and the flowing of your vocals shows the importance of body language in music presentation as well as the intentional effort you display to convey the messages in your song. 2. @kayclarity's "Forever" Original Song
You are indeed quite the remarkable songstress. Your voice is silk smooth and your entries are often seamless with controlled emotion and sweet sounds. I really enjoy the runs you do when you (flutter) across a range of notes like a gentle butterfly and then you transition with an almost wailing, crying depth added into the tonality. This is truly a gem that needs praise and more ears tuning in. The profound reminiscent feel of your lyrics hit home and the heart, as they do succeed in providing nostalgia, encouraging words and memories of childhood. I have replayed it quite a few times and I appreciate you sharing another original entry with us all. Such creativity should be appreciated.
3. @matiasfumagalli's "Victoria" By Lucas And The Woods Cover Song
I pick my winner's list by many categories and variables. And your entry right here was just amazing and I felt was a bit overlooked and underappreciated. You have such a nice quality to your voice and the best part is that you sing with passion and no fear. The overall presentation of this great cover choice was how you belted our your emotions and intentions through the music making it an instant connection with feeling. When you share such conviction with talent to play piano as grippingly well as you sing, it is hard to ignore. Thank you for this entry, I have never heard this song before but my only fear is if I listen to the original artist, maybe you sing it better than they do and it will disappoint me lol Either way, can't wait to see what you perform next.

4. @davidfar's "Equality" Original Song
I loved how you took a dark and suspenseful vibe and fused it with some powerfully potent lyrics giving a resounding reflective message, and laced it with an earworm of a chorus. How you sang the chorus sliding up on the notes was a nice added texture. The contrast of darkness and purposeful light shown in the lyrics provided a balance of frequencies that lures you in to really pay attention. As a song writer overall, you touch on a lot of topics others won't even raise a finger of objection to, and what makes you standout is how risk taking you are with your convictions and beliefs to just reveal how you truly feel. This is one original song I have to highlight from how you not only blasted through your powerful chorus with a commanding tone, but you remind everyone of how gifted you are with the guitar. That solo rift run at the end was so fluid I was left wanting more. Thanks for this original entry, you have to record this one professionally.

Do you have tarantulas for hands? My goodness. I was watching you scurry with ease and agility across those black and white keys and you have practiced ridiculous amounts of months to get to the level and skill you are at now. It is definitely something to appreciate and admire when someone such as yourself can play the piano as if it were second nature, a mother language, an extension of the soul and display muscle memory at the highest echelons. Thank you for the good vibes and the showcase of talent. You earned your spot in the top 5.

Tons of them are in loose midi on my laptop. When I’m touring with other projects I’m hustling on Ableton to kill those brutal eight hour drives. When I get back from the trip I’m on I’ll take my favorite two and bus them out to the modular and see if anything strikes you. I have one in mind actually I think you’d super dig .... and collaborating on steemit seems like something I def want to accomplish before the studio gets slammed later this month.

Hello bro, you're very welcome. I am happy to break down the music and describe what I feel and experience in depth because when I share my music, I too hope for similar reviews and feedback so I can learn more about my audience and how my music impacts them so I feel that is expected of me, especially as a judge and fellow musician within our Steemit community.
If you earn your win, you earn it. I don't like giving away positions to people who don't deserve it and everyone on my list definitely deserved their place and ranking. I would love to list more but then the top list would get out of hand putting so many people into one post.
