Hi all!
Could someone with more knowledge than I please explain what this means?
"bandwidth limit exeeded. Please wait to transact or power up STEEM
Well, I understand what it means, but I dont know why and and I dont know were I can monitor my bandwith limit nor do I know what the limits are.
Feels kind of weird and frustrating as I powered up over 300 SP not many hours ago.. (300 SP might not be much to some but too me that´s not insignificant)
Looks like there are more people than me asking this question.
I powered up a bit and now I can comment and post again, but I really would like to know what this is all about.

Ja jeg vet hva dette betyr, men om jeg klarer å forklare det nå ikveld er en annen sak?
Får prøve å si noe generelt først. Dette er en av tingene som kommer til å holde Steemit systemet gebyrfritt ; -) Hvis du tar en titt på f. eks. Bitcoin så har gebyrene blitt vesentlige etterhvert.
Først og fremst husk at vi er i Beta versjon. Dette gjør at Steemit er veldig foranderlig. Dette er en styrke men det blir mange ting som forandrer seg hele tiden.
Båndbredde her betyr hvor mye båndbredde du har i Steemit systemet, altså hvor mye du kan gjøre på en gang til enhver tid. Båndbredde er bestemt av hvor mye Steem Power du har. Så istedenfor gebyrer øker båndbredden med mer Steem Power. Fordelen er jo at dersom du ikke får gjort alt du vil fort nok kan du investere i mer Steem Power som for alltid er ditt og kan omgjøres tilbake til penger. Gebyrer er jo tapt for alltid.
Dette er hva jeg klarer å forklare nå, men bare spør videre dersom svaret ikke er tilfredsstillende.

Ok, så jo mer SP du har jo mer båndbredde har du tilgang til. Ok. Skjønner.
Og at denne måte å løse ting på istedet for gebyrer er sweet; So far so good. Makes sense.
MEN, er det noe sted man kan monitorere båndbredden sin og hvor mye man har, man har brukt, man har igjen osv?

This same thing happened to me and I couldn't even power up. It was like my account was froze and then it started to work again with no explanation.
I was told by @bullionstackers that it´s a bug.
Seems everyone has been having this issue, a lot of people are posting about it at the moment, I just waited for a bit and it went away.... bit of an odd message but it seems everyone is experiencing it

So it´s a bug. I thought if was kind of weird to get this message just after I had powered up.
So between you and @ramta tonight I´ve got the answers I was looking for: how to monitor my bandwidth/limits etc (at steemd.com) and also why I got the message (it´s a bug).

Hi, I had the same. I could post after 5 min without powering up. Some believe that there might be a problem with the blockchain. Steemit may be growing to fast or to many people might be posting at the same time. But when I got the message my first response was to check my wallet. 😂😂
Yeah, I did the same thing.. Thought someone had emptied my account.. :)
So @ramta is explaining (in Norwegian) that the more SP you have the more bandwidth you have. This is sort of instead of having fees on the Steemit system. Which is quite good I think. Fees are gone forever, but in this case you can turn it over to money if you want to.
I´ve asked @ramta if there´s some place we can monitor our bandwidth. I´ll translate if I get an reply about that.

Also, it seems to be a bug. So even if you have not exeeded your bandwidth you might get this message. Try again in a little while and see if it helps. Or try to power up. Just a small amount will do the trick.
