Thus begins the video I'd like to point your attention to. I won't talk too much about it, as James Corbett from the corbettreport, one of my favorite YouTube channels, says it all really. I only will add a few other tidbits about our corporate world-leaders you may not know about.

Did you know, for example, that Ford sued the American government for damaging their factories in Nazi Germany during the Second World War? I know there's still discussions about this so called conspiracy theorie, but they're all about the details. Fact is that Ford and Opel (General Motors) produced war materials for both sides of the war. The capitalist mind sees nothing wrong with this, and that's the essence of what I'm adding to the video.

IBM helped Nazi Germany solve the humongous logistic challenge that was presented by Hitler's plan to round-up all Jews from all European countries and transport them to assigned labor- and extermination-camps. Coca Cola invented Fanta to circumvent a trade embargo against Nazi Germany (and also because the brand didn't want to be associated publicly with the Nazis):

During WWII, a trade embargo was established against Nazi Germany – making the import of Coca-Cola syrup difficult. To circumvent this, Max Keith, the head of Coca-Cola Deutschland (Coca-Cola GmbH) decided to create a new product for the German market, using only ingredients available in Germany at the time, including whey and apple pomace—the "leftovers of leftovers", as Keith later recalled. The name was the result of a brief brainstorming session, which started with Keith's exhorting his team to "use their imagination" (Fantasie in German), to which one of his salesmen, Joe Knipp, immediately retorted "Fanta!"

The Capitalist mind-set floats high above such trivial questions about morality, doesn't concern itself with "doing the right thing" if that thing has nothing to do with the upward trajectory of the bottom-line.

Funny thing is that James Corbett, who I respect a great deal, is one of the many souls that sees the devil in the absolute power of these mega-corporations, but fails to see that this is all a direct result from the capitalist idealism he still firmly believes in. They whine about the revolving door construction their top managers have with politics (Monsanto, Ford, Standard Oil, Goldman Sachs, Goldman Sachs, Goldman Sachs, all of them have or had managers in key government positions before or after their political career, according to which way the door was turning at their time), but still believe a solution to this problem can be found within capitalism if only the market was really free. I still can only congratulate anyone who believes that on an incredible feat of brain-gymnastics.

What I don't understand is how then one can blame politics when it's clear who's the master and who the slave, who the puppeteers and who the puppets are. Actually it's master and slave puppeteers and puppets if you regard all levels of power: Corporations are the master puppeteers who have on their strings the politician slave puppeteers, who have on their strings the blind electorate.

Anyhow, I gladly forgive James for this minor but crucial blind-spot: his videos are among the very top of the crucial information food-chain, and I would recommend all of you to follow him closely. He was here with us on Steemit, just look at his introduction two years ago and be amazed at what his very first post made: The Corbett Report is here..

But, like the title says, it's time to get scared. Monsanto and Bayer are two of the most vile and inhumanly evil corporate entities you'll ever meet. Watch the horror that is their merger:
