Today I discovered an up and coming Steemian who I believe is going to reach great heights

His name is @terminallyill but in his articles he calls himself “Lucky”

He has been publishing some great articles to teach people all about Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies and after reading his series on Blockchain Technology I have discovered he is a very good teacher indeed

Have you ever read an article on Blockchain Technology or Cryptocurrencies and found that it’s like it’s written in a different language? That you haven’t a clue what they are talking about

Well you won’t find that with the articles that @terminallyill writes.

They are all written in plain english so are very easy for the beginner who is starting out on their journey into the crypto world

if Blockchain Technology and Cryptocurrencies are topics that you would like to understand then head on over to the blog of @terminallyill. You won’t be disappointed

Here are the first 3 articles in his teaching series on this subject if you want to get your head around what all those blockchain and cryptocurrency terms mean

Thank you @markkennard for writing this article and pointing people in the direction of my beginner's guide. I just released the latest article "What Is Bitcoin", which answers the very first question EVERYONE new to crypto is sure to ask. I will be releasing the fifth article in roughly the next 12 hours as well, which will provide a break down on cryptocurrency.

I invite everyone who reads this to follow me @terminallyill and get engaged with this series. At it's current state, there is a plethora of information available for newbies and those with crypto experience. I am also going to chase this series with a more advanced series, so stay on board :) At the bottom of my last post, which is in the link below, you will find my email address. Cool. Thanks for the information. :) I will check out the articles you included and terminallyill's blog and if I like the content I'll give him a follow, I've been on steemit over a year, but.. I still am rather new to a lot of cryptocurrency stuff so it's good to find more knowledgeable sources who are good at breaking the information down for regular peoples. :)

He has some really good posts as well as his tutorials. There’s one other that I really liked because of my age. It was about how Atari are getting into Blockchain Technology. The reason I enjoyed that post is because when I was young we had one the first games consoles that Atari produced. Wish I still had it now

Word! I also grew up on the Atarai and thought that was an interesting article as well! :) Interesting times we are going into indeed!

@apolymask I hope that these are able to help you learn more about crypto. If you have any questions go ahead and hit me with them. I'll do my best to answer any that you have. Here's the link to the 4th part of the series as well in case you want to follow it. Thanks bro!

Glad to see you have found this contest! I’m currently skiing and on the hill but will look more into it when I get home!

Wish I was there with you. I’m currently at home while a cyclone is lashing the country with states of emergency being declared in many areas. The news hasn’t been updated this morning but I’m guessing the town may be cut off by flooding

Are you in NZ!? I've got a family friend who lives just south of Auckland and he was telling me that theres a cyclone in the south island?

Yes, I live in Oamaru. Solid rain the last 2 days but we haven’t had it as bad as other places. Some places in South Island have declared a state of emergency and some north island places are without power

Wait is that the place with the gliding?

That’s crazy.. I’m curious how bad Milford Sound is getting it. When it rained there it really rained. Hope it dies down soon.

Wait that was Omarama! My girlfriend just told me which I completely forgot about we spend a night in Oamaru! We tried looking for penguins at the beach and night but it was actually absolutely poring rain at that point as well when we were there.

That’s great that you’ve been here. I hope you liked it. It’s changed a lot in the last few years and is a real tourist trap now. I hope you come back again some time and stay a bit longer. I did a post about it here https://steemit.com/newbieresteemday/@markkennard/my-home-town-oamaru-new-zealand
Might bring back some memories

Feel free to check out the latest part of the guide @kryptocek . I hope that you enjoy it! @markkennard I hope you stay safe out there. Doesn't sound like very fun times. My parents visited NZ about a decade ago, they said it was a gorgeous place and the culture was amazing there. They never mentioned cyclones though....I hope everybody is alright!

It’s only been the last year that tropical cyclones have reached Oamaru. We had a state of emergency in July with flooding. This time wasn’t that bad though. We just got the tail end of it

I certainly hope it stays tamed! Good luck dealing with that. Mother Nature can be uncontrollable at times lol.

The sun is out today so all is good now. Also, be careful how many upvotes you make each day. You get powered up each day by 20% so it’s best to not make more than 10 upvotes a day otherwise your voting power will go below 80 which you don’t want. You can check how much voting power you have left by going to https://steemd.com/@terminallyill
Or https://steemworld.org/@terminallyill
That one also shows all the upvotes you’ve received from others and upvotes you’ve made. It also shows comments and resteems. A very handy site

LOL I wish I had known that prior. Thank you for the much needed heads up on that. So, is there a way to bring my voting power up by moving funds into my Steem account or anything of the sort? It'll be 3 days before my voting power goes back up to 100%.

I just checked stems.com and you are down to 29% voting power so don’t make any more upvotes for about 3-4 days

Yea definitely need to put a halt to that. I just try to help as many people as i can by upvoting, which i can see has turned around on me. How can I raise my voting power?

The only way you can is to wait as far as I’m aware. I Just looked st steemd again and it’s 26% so don’t vote for 4 days

Yea, why's it keep dropping? I've ceased upvoting.....thats odd. I received about half of it through my content. The other half came from trading. Being I trade crypto, I bounced some of my profits over to Steemit, which built my SP up pretty decent.

I just checked your wallet and you have a lot of Steem Power for a someone new. How on earth did you get so much. Maybe you can give me a tip

If you learn how to trade crypto, you'd be surprised what you can do with your Steemit earnings.
