Plastic upcycled
I used for this project:
- Food Plastic bag, as need
- Scissors,
- Sewing machine
- Needle
- Flatiron
- Zipper
- Thread
Open de bags, take off all the edges...
Place the two bags between blankets
Iron very hot and careful because it melts, be careful when taking out it gets very hot
I used a trouser closure that no longer works
It looks like a plastic sheet
joins the zipper in the usual way
sew the edges
And you have little purse
I do not went pretty, but funcional

What a great idea. And you're right, never throw away something with a working zipper ;)
Check twice before go the trash can
Yep... lots of good quality plastic and zippers to upcycle, @tahiaarq - well done !
Thank you @crytocariad ..
I do my best..
It is good to know someone like it
Very clever and functional idea! I think it’s neat that you were able to attach a zipper! It’s a smooth looking finish.
Thanks for entering week 2 of our Upcycle Challenge and for sharing another wonderful idea with us!

Love it! That's great! And a great way of recycling-good for you and you probably saved yourself some money as you didn't have to buy a purse.
Yes, indeed I save money even for by materials to do a purse..
Thank you for the support and comment!
That's a great idea for using up plastic wrapping - even with careful shopping, we still get a lot of plastic. The same idea has lots of other uses, too. Thank you for sharing :)

I will pass and read about it
Have a lovely week too!
Lovely project I can imagine this as bag for my knitting :-DDD Very practical. But I would have had a very high puls rate while ironing plastic :-DD I already melted by accident some needles (with plastic heads) into something I have sewn.
You can do it the size you need, but it is a careful job, it is not a children project at least the iron part
