Quebec City's Murals #2 - The Hidden Ones
Today's Murals post takes us back to Quebec City. We are going to find graffitis wherever they hide. I have investigated the dark corners of the old city so to provide you with the following lesser known gems.
For the regular visitor, you know the drill. But if it's your first time joining on on one of these murals virtual visits, you should know that you can click on the links immediately under the pictures to find yourself at the very place on Google Street View where they were taken (or the closer you can get to it).
Let's start under a bridge named the Pont Marie-de-l'Incarnation. We are now walking in one of the trails of the Parc linéaire de la Rivière-Saint-Charles furrowed by the Saint-Charles River. We find ourselves in front of Groundskeeper Willie, Kermit the Frog, and a street scene.
Before moving on to a different location, we'll take a quick look further down the river.
The second half of this display takes us from the Lower Town to the Upper Town of Quebec City and near the Parliament Building. This is where, in the Old Quebec, that the provincial government convenes.
What are we looking at?
A couple of strange characters, including another one straight out of The Simpsons series, and multiple cool tags.
Hope you enjoyed this visual trip. I certainly did.
Until next time...
thanks for sharing these street art murals - always a fleeting type of art
My pleasure! Yes, it's in this type of art's nature to be ephemeral. The next one I'll be doing about Montreal's Murals (#7, I believe) should be all about ''lost ones''. I was not familiar with the word ''fleeting'', so I might use it in this coming post.
Many of those artist are quite talented!
Yes, I totally agree. The first part located under a bridge seems to be something that could have possibly been commissioned by the city, while the rest is pure street art except for the fox on the house which looks out of place.
Wow! You are putting an amazing amount of effort into sharing the art and the location. Very cool! Love murals, but graffiti is ubiquitous, isn't it?
Thanks for noticing the work put into the post! Yes, right on, they are everywhere!
very creative artwork... keep it up

Thank you very much for your kind words, regards @heroic15397
Are you sure it is Kermit not his evil twin, Russian spy frog? Hehe
May be. Thinking of it, I find it strange he would be holding up an umbrella while being covered under a bridge on a rainy day. ;-)
awesome, I always wanted to go to Quebec City, only made it as far as Granby though!!
It's definitely worth the trip!
