My Life In 8 Songs : the complete collection of all 26 shows (including recordings)
Last year I produced 26 episodes of My Life In 8 Songs on MSP Waves.
From March through to August, initially on Saturdays and then on Thursdays, I interviewed over 70 steemians on the show. They each told their life story for an hour interspersed with the 8 songs that had had most special meaning for them.
Initially the shows were with 'general' steemians who chose 8 songs from any artists. From mid-June onwards the show switched to interviewing steemian musicians playing 8 of their own tracks.
This switch to steem musicians and their own music overcame the commercial licensing restrictions on the earlier interviews.
For the earlier interviews where steemians chose commercial songs licensing restrictions for MSP Waves meant that the songs had to be edited out before the recordings could be posted in full.
This editing has been done for some of the guests but it is rather time-consuming so not all the recordings are available online. It anyone, particularly the interviewees, is keen for their interview to be posted online let me know and I will try to get it edited.
A few of the recordings were posted through DLive - these will obviously have now gone. This might also apply for some of the DTube ones as well. However all the posts include a YouTube alternative link for posterity.
To mark my one year anniversary as a show host on MSP Waves I launched a contest last week to guess how many steemians I have interviewed on my shows. There is still time to enter...
This collation of My Life In 8 Songs episodes is part of my auditing of all my shows to work out the answer to the contest!
Remember there are all my Friday shows to be included as well...

This was a great show! cool to see how many people you have had a chat with! lot's of interesting talks.
Those shows were a lot of fun.
