The Turtles finally leave Windemere and travel to Gorthlidir, only to encounter some evil Snake Men!

The turtle team seems to be showing up a bit late to the party again. They really need to stay away from the weed and pizza and commit to the quest. But there just teenagers remember so they sometime need a break from saving the world. Their magical friend that enchanted their weapons decided to stay behind at this point.

It was now time to make their way from Windemere to Gorthlidir and survey all the carnage before them and hope there may be someone left to battle on the way.

As they entered the Vine Jungle they could see that they were obviously later than the others. They encountered a huge pile of blood and examined a small limp object laying in the pool of blood.

"Is that what I think it is?" Asked Raph.

Yeah, I think it is” reply Leo.

“That’s nasty, who else is on this quest”

“Didn’t we say that last time?"

“I think we did, we better stay on their good sides."

They explored more and found the trial of blood leading to have partially buried copse that appears to have been heavily mangled.

As they continued north to Gorthlidir they encountered Orko. He seemed to be a “bit off” to say the least. He was rambling
incoherently about savage dogs or something. They tried to ask him the way but he just said “don’t go to Gorthlindir, the dogs are there”

We must be cautious of these dogs agreed the turtles.

Further into the vine jungle they encountered some snake men. Not just any snake men but the evil “Snake Face” and “Sssqueeze”. (Yes with 3 's').

After a brief chuckle over the absurdity of these #MOTU enemies and how totally realistic it was to be mutated turtles it was time for battle.

Sssqueeze was the first to attack, he stretched his arms very long to try an entrap the turtles.

This turned out to be a very vulnerable move since they were able to simply slice off his arms and leave the snake man totally defenseless.

Snake Face was another story, despite also being a snake man his power was very different. He had the traditional power of the gorgon and the ability to petrify anyone to looked upon him.

Luckily any skilled ninja can fight without their eyes!

Without this advantaged snake face was nothing more than a strange looking dude with a stick. He had no fighting ability and a few ninja kicks from the turtles left him defeated and breathless.

The turtles thought about finishing them in some overly gruesome manner, but then remembered what Captain planet had said about all the carnage and decided to let the snake man run away.

With that they proceeded to Gorthlindir and finally reunited with this girl power team and the giant fist man and helicopter man who seemed to have already rescued King Stratos and the Egg of Avion.
