This is a weekly overview of my personal handicapping and live betting results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League with some insights on my overall approach.

Week 17 was a bit of a roller coaster having a solid Friday & Saturday to give it nearly all back on Sunday leaving the week results at only a handful of cash. As always with these weekly results, variance plays a huge part in them and winning weeks often could have been losing weeks or the other way around based on 1 single goal.

I had a couple "lose a little, win a lot" positions that would have made a huge swing up but a ball on the post decided otherwise. This one ball pretty much would have made the weekly profit at +4.378 units instead of 0.151 units. The main key with getting multiple positions in one match that potentially lead up to a jackpot win is to always keep the stakes at risk low so there is never a big downward swing based on a single goal.

Biggest loss came in the match on Club Brugge vs Standard match where I was unable to closely follow the match from the start since I was still finishing up my NFL bets and post. I had a 1st half under position just before kick-off because there were some signs for the home team to take a somewhat more defensive approach. The idea that I might have traded out of the position if I would not have been distracted did trigger me a bit when the 1-0 came in the 7th minute and It really threw me off that match. Good lesson on how important focus is when you want to beat these markets and it won't be a mistake I will make again.

As always, quite some of the live bets I took were shared on the SBC Discord #live-betting Channel. Results on those were quite good (5.5W-4L-1.5P) and the only pre-game bet I took extra on (Genk -0.25) in BTC also ended up winning.

The Season results graph is now getting closer to what can realistically be expected long-term and I will keep grinding away at it one bet at a time. I already took 1 very early bet this week on Club Brugge -1.25 @ 1.962 away against Waasland but is was impossible to share and the price is gone now given the fact that early odds are quite vulnerable.

Luck will also be a part of sports betting. Sometimes a late minute goal could result into a winning bet, sometimes it could turn a winning bet around into a losing bet.
But it is good that after 2 red weeks, you are back in the green! You can see a little bit as breaking through a wall once again!

True, it's always easy to focus on the times when luck is against a bit while there are plenty of occasions when it's the other way around. The long run picture is really the only true reference. So far it's still on par this season but the buffer on the expected line is getting lower.
