The pictures show a bush of about 1.2 m height with a variety of flowers on which bees enjoy the richly laid table with great pleasure. This species was introduced in the 18th century as a garden plant from North America and enjoys great popularity in cottage gardens. The combination of violet petals with the yolk-yellow inflorescence is very harmonious in appearance.

Jahrhundert als Gartenpflanze aus Nordamerika eingeführt und erfreut sich großer Beliebtheit in Bauerngärten. Die Kombination der violetten Blütenblätter mit dem dottergelben Blütenstand ist sehr harmonisch im Aussehen.
