The Green Lacewing
I came across this Green Lacewing last night. As far as I can tell it is Italochrysa insignis but there are many similar species so I could be mistaken. Any Neuropteran experts out there are welcome to correct me. In the mean time, lets just enjoy those magnificent wings with their lace like venation.
The photos below were taken with a Canon 7D and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro lens.
