Monomad Friday - Flowers (Spider Orchid)
This is the Plain-lip Spider orchid, Caladenia lavigera. It's one of the many small native orchids found here in Tasmania. This one is a terrestrial orchid. That is to say it grows in the ground from a tuber unlike the epiphytic orchids which grown on trees. I found this one growing at the "Henry Somerset Orchid Conservation Area".
