So many people want life to be black and white. I guess it would make the difficult things easier to understand. If there was really some evil empire with a true evil person leading then it would be morally easy to hate them, to fight them and their system, to kill those who follow those evil plans. But in my view that doesnt exist. Those people are not truly evil, and like you say, the truth in somewhere down the middle.
