I still remember when I first entered the university, I was very confused, I didn’t even want to go to university. Like the people around me, I planned to get a job after graduation. It was a study week afternoon; I accompanied my roommate to the library to borrow some books. Coincidentally, I met Jane. She is a quiet girl, sitting in a corner flipping through the "Kafka on the Shore." I also like Murakami, so I talk to her. Gradually, I learned that she was preparing for Japanese Culture exam.

Although the day is monotonous, she lives in a full and interesting life. In that calmness, I saw a matureness. Every time I passed by her seat, I saw a pile of books, that inexplicable touched my heart.

One night, while walking down a dark path, she suddenly said to me, her family does not let her continue her study, her father found a clerk work for her. At the end of last November, because of the pressure, she suffered from bronchitis and missed the chance to take the exam.

Knowing that she failed to take the exam, I sent her an email, which wrote: "Many people are blind and may not know what to do with their lives. You are better than them, even if you failed, it doesn't matter, at least you are living for yourself.”

The next time I met her, is when she is leaving the university. We still have a lot of things to say. It seems that at that moment, we become strangers, back to the original point. And her struggles become useless.

In the days of her disappearance, Jane followed her father's arrangements, got into the state-owned enterprises. But she doesn't like the depressing environment. That year, Jane sacrifices finally paid back. She finally graduated and got herself a certificate.
