Don't be afraid, life is not always that difficult

Sometimes I will fall into an unprecedented panic, and I know that if I don't make a change and don't get away from this comfort zone, I will get numb in this environment.

Later at a dinner, I bump into a senior. At that time he was working in a design institute for two years. After a few hours of chatting, he told me that their company was hiring, ask me to go for an interview.
However, he also tactfully hinted to me, there are quite a number of enrollment, and my education is not an advantage.

I hesitated for a long time, only three people will be chosen from twenty to thirty people. Compared with education, I have the most average level, and the theory of knowledge, needless to say, is definitely at the bottom. My chances of being eliminated were very high, and the time of the interview was one week away.

I had the idea to give up, but later after some thought, why not just try it? Even if it failed, I got nothing to lose...

I began to go crazy in that week, study the related books from seven in the morning to the following day. For me in those days, the more I studied, the more hope I have.

I was one of the ten people in the final test. After the test, the interview has become my advantage, after all, I have one year of internship experience. In the end, I able to get the job.

A lot of the times, it is not the world that makes us stop. As a child, we firmly believe that the road is at our feet. And after grown up, we always hesitated in front of the fog, often deterred.

I have a friend, Oliver, two months ago, he quit his job for current company. On the first day of work, the group leader throws him a project and asks him to do his best and it doesn't matter even if it’s not complete.

He spent a full week to finish the project efficiently. But when he was confident enough to send the results to the customers, the next day he was beaten back by the customers, and put forward a lot of changes. Oliver without any opinion, immediately modified based on customers’ requests. In the end, he got rejected again; the reason is that the result doesn’t come out as their expected.

With years of working experience, Oliver feels that there are problems, this is obviously finding quarrel in a straw. As a result, he made an interview request to the customer, but the customer directly rejected him.

Finally, before the end of the day, he directly went to customer’s company with the data and blocked the customer at the company entrance. Despite the obvious sense of various difficulties by the customer, he always maintained enough patience, face with a smile. In his words, trying to satisfy the customer as much as possible, and did not leave them any excuses.

In future, he appeared on time every day. Less than one week, the customer finally compromised, and take the initiative to meet him and explained the specific requirements. Before leaving, the customer told him that it was because of his perseverance and patience, make them feel relieved that the project was given to Oliver’s company.

When Oliver bring the results back to the leader, the leader blank for a long time, then laugh embarrassedly.

This project has been tender by another company. The customer already signed the contract, so it is not ethical to void the contract. So they can only find excuses and faults everywhere, want to make our company give up. The leader is ready to hand over the matter directly to the company's legal department but did not expect Oliver buttoned it up.

The successful resolution of this project, not only rewarded Oliver with a considerable amount of bonuses, but also allow him to stabilize the heel in the company, and won the unanimous endorsement from the colleagues.

The world is so big; there will always be people who experience the same thing as you. The difference is that some people choose to give up desperately in the beginning, while others, never lose sight.

In life, there are things that we can't change no matter how hard we try. But there are more things that we can change. Obviously, we can put ourselves in a better position, but we are confused by the environment around us, intimidated by our predictions.

Many times, what makes us feel embarrassed is not the thing itself but is our timid heart.

You think foreign language is your life's difficulty, so you never go to the English corner of the school, also never look at any learning materials, and straight up complaining that English is too difficult;

You think losing weight is your life's difficulty, so you never go to the gym, and never thought about how to eat a healthy diet, and directly discouraged to say losing weight is too difficult;

You think love is your life's difficulty, so you never actively expand your social circle, and never thought to improve yourself, and directly complained love is too difficult ...

However, you have to understand that if you are fear of difficulties, then everywhere in your life is difficult. If you don’t dare to start, then you will never be able to move.

Only when you go through it step by step, then you will know you can be strong too.

Life has no much difficult problems; it is difficult because you don’t have the heart to face the difficulties.
