I got myself a pair of used ice skates the other day and took them down to the river to try them out, they feel good. It is nice to find some things to do outside during the winter I tend to get a little down during the winter because of... but I find that staying active helps with that.

I just hope that this winter is different even if it looks like it won't be. My partner and I are done, I guess words don't mean much...why do people have to be so fickle and so mean, why do we lash out and cause pain I wish I knew how to let someone into my heart and not let them hurt me but that is the paradox if you let them in then they have free reign...to stab and it hurts...I wish I could believe that it mattered I wish I believed that I don't sound like some grade school shit head...All I want is peace in my life and simplicity but asking for someone to be there is too much apparently...maybe someday it wont hurt as much but I remember this pain I am scared of it...
