I Laughed

I laughed, we all did.
We laughed like a riot
And it echoed in that room
full of people who knew me.

I loved every person
in that room,
and I believe at that
point they love me too.

I remember happpy faces,
wide jaw smiles
and shining eyes
but I was sad.

I laughed, I did,
even though
I knew I wasn't happy.
But I kept laughing
with them, sadly.
