I am powering up and my goal is 1,000 SP
Hi Steemians
I am on Steemit for a while now, but still learning. I know that is a bit funny, but that is the way it is! My voting power was 0.01 and it was really frustrating, because I wanted more power to reward many users who helped me on my journey, but everything seemed to be slow and I couldnt figure out the way. I was posting, upvoting and commenting, but could not see a big difference.
Some days ago I discovered @blocktrades and started buying Steem power. Everything became more exciting. From 0.01 I started moving up to 0.02, 0.04 etc. Then I read other posts of users who bought Steem delegation, so I wanted to experiment as well. Believe me I understood 50% of the process till now. I bought the Steem delegation, but dont know how to give it back or how everything really works. I couldnt find posts related to this topic. So if anybody knows how it works, please let me know :) I will be thankful!
Anyway I got my Steem power from @blocktrades and I powered up many times. The Steem rate was very good in the Christmas days and it was a good opportunity for many of us. Now my voting power is 0.50$ when it is 100% But it is very difficult to leave it at 100%. I have many friends here and it is fun to read and upvote their posts. It is really difficult to leave a comment and move on or just not be active for 3 or 4 days.
Some days ago I got a message from @overkillcoin telling me that he adopted me and will upvote 2 posts of mine everyday as a support to help me reach the 1,000 SP and I am very happy because he was always supporting me and I think all of us made some good friends on Steemit already and know that feeling :)

I really love this project and love to see many Steemians joining it in the future to grow together.
Some days ago I was posting without a real goal, but now I am trying my best to reach the 1,000 SP and after that the 2.500 SP I am more motivated now and want to thank @steembusiness and @overkillcoin for their support. I want also to thank @taskmaster4450 for this great project that will help many newbies to understand how everything works here. And instead of powering down we should all power up :)

Try to keep that voting power between 90%-100%.
And throw all you can into powering up....
In my view, 1,000 SP will be worth $100K in a year....that is the reason for that threshold.
As soon as you make it, you can adopt someone else and keep passing it on.
Oh also be sure to use 20% of your voting power per day.....that is what it recharges in a 24 hour period.
Do not leave votes on the table as they say....dont want to waste that new found SP.

Thats for sure! Once I reach the 1.000 SP I will adopt someone. I love this project and it is also fun to see someone growing with our support :)
You could also download that #vessel tool to your system and do all the delegation from there. I found that to be quite useful for delegations once I started getting more and more power!

Thank you for the link. I will check it out :) But there is something that I dont understand about the delegation. How can I repay it back ?
When I initially started here, I signed up with @minnowsupport and delegated a small amount of SP. I've gained some SP and have used Vessel to allocate more.
This helped me to get daily increased SBDs.
Check my wallet and you can see daily payouts.
And you had to repay the delegated Steem Power to @minnowsupport ?

The best way to power up and increase your SP is to sell SBD->BTC then BTC-Steem if the price on the market-bittrex is cheaper than Steemit.com/market and transfer steem back to your a/c and power it up. Renting a delegation will allow give you temporary SP. It is on lease and temporary.

I've learnt so much from you already... I learnt about the photographic competitions, I saw you had used bots in your Wallet and tried that too, I saw that you had purchased Steempower and so now I've done that too. It's so much more satisfying to upvote people more than $0.01.... now my only problem is that my voting power is always down around 20%... I have to give voting a rest for a while to let it generate... but it's so hard because the content is so good.
My voting power was also for a while 20% or even less, but when I started powering up it went up as well. You can try that it the future and see that it is the best option.

You can invest even 1 or 2 dollars pr day and you will see the change soon :)

ohhhh thats a miracle. I have a long way to go. But we never know. Steemit is full of surprises :)
