Drone Day at the Lake - Look at all that Sky!
Greetings Steemit,
GG reporting in with another BEAUTIFUL day on full display here in the Ozarks! After doing a hot mess of morning tasks - I was ready to step out & enjoy it, so I buzzed Mr. @WinstonWolfe to see if he was free. Thankfully he had a window in the afternoon so we stepped out to the park smiling in the Sunshine, with cameras locked & loaded.
Our targeted area was Lake Springfield (in home base of Springfield, MO) - and we couldn't have picked a better spot. There are vast open fields adjacent to the Lake - so its a perfect place to fly my Quadcopter and capture some epic shots of the clouds passing through.
We spent 2 Quad batteries shooting pics/vid - as well as Winston doing his thing w/ GoPro & Iphone in hand. There is a lot of video to sort through (coming soon in a future post) - but in my excitement I decided to post a couple pictures and share this glorious day with the rest of you Steemians.

It has rained a TON here in the past few months - so in that last pic the lake water is all brown & muddy from all the runoff. That said - the sky was bonkers blue today & I'm very happy I got to fly.

I love that first shot!
The horizon is flat across instead of the fish-eye you get from a regular gopro.
It must be from the camera on the drone?
Its actually a wide angle lens that doesn't really fish eye too much.
Use that one the most that you can! It takes beautiful pics! :)
