Rush Hour

in #life6 years ago

Life gets really busy and sometimes it gets busy rather quickly. This past week seemed to pass so quickly with all the things that needed to be done.

Upcoming Travel

I'm basically going to be traveling on a tight budget for the next 6-7 weeks. I wish I had done this sooner but better late than never.

For a long time I wanted to travel to a few places in Europe and after a lot of time spent getting my itinerary right and saving up for the trip I'm leaving to Europe in the next few days to come. Steemfest presents a unique opportunity and reason to travel aboard and since I've been on Steemit and associated with the event I'm always looking forward to the next one.

I'll be there at SF3 and I hope to see you too!

36 Countries and counting

This a map that indicates the current attendees for Steemfest 3 that @roelandp put together. It's not complete as there is no obligation to leave details about your location in the ticketshop. There are attendees from 36+ countries here. Incredibly isn't it? If you haven't bought your ticket yet buy it from the Steemfest website here

Witness

My witness "firepower" is back online and it's running stable. Currently the witness is on HF19.12 as it's very stable and HF20.1 is replaying on the backup node. Once it's done I will update it to HF20.2 and then switch over and update the primary node with the latest HF20.2. So looking forward to getting this completed soon.

Dealing with Stress

Last few months have been rather stressful for quite a few reasons. Last two weeks was also extremely stressful for some personal reasons including health and I haven't taken a real break in ages. However, I've managed to take some time off from my desk and handle these situations and with 3 more days at home I think i'm nearly ready to head out once again.

Tarik Pe Tarik (Date On Date)

Supreme Court of India adjourned the case: RBI vs Cryptocurrencies to 25th of September on 18th of September. Hence I didn't carry an update on that as there wasn't anything new to add. However, I will write more on this soon enough.

Steem Apps

I've been testing out a couple of mobile apps for the Steem blockchain: @partiko and @the1ramp, and found them quite interesting. However, currently I'm still using Steemit to blog. However, @steempeak, @esteemapp and @busy.org are also great. Since I generally write posts only when I'm at my desk I'm excited to switch to a mobile app or a better UI to the blockchain so I can do a few travel posts on the go.

Rush Hour

Looking back at the past few months of this year it feels like 'I am standing still' in a train station and 'the year' was 'the train' that just went through the station at speed! Does anyone else feel this way? It seems like as the years roll on, time is passing quicker!

Anyway, there are so many things I want to share in the days to come. One at a time I suppose.

@firepower My vote was not reflecting...Now i can see my vote.!!!

@firepower, For sure, Travelling is one of the best aspect and most importantly when people travel abroad they can learn through exploration and they can experience totally different life.

And hope that from whatever personal reasons you are going through will be resolved soon and also want to wish you great Health ahead.

And yes, still the Cryptocurrency case is not yet selected for the hearing because still the old one's are stretched, and now we have to see what will happen because, we are hearing that RBI is coming up with strong points this time to showcase Cryptocurrencies as non-reliable aspect.

But as an Crypto Enthusiasts we have to continue our journey and we have to support Crypto because it holds the growth of future and every Revolutionary decision faced obstacles initially.

Wishing you an great day and stay blessed. 🙂

Thanks dude. I agree with you. We need to keep pushing forward no matter what challenges come our way including government decisions against things that help us in our lives. :D

Welcome, and these words are absolutely true. Stay blessed. 🙂

Life does go by so fast, espically as you get older. With all events that take place in my life now I always go back to a line from Desiderata, by Max Ehrman. "Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans." Traveling is like eating dinner. The time it takes to cook requires much more time than the 15 minutes it takes to gobble it down. Very similar to planning a vacation. The vacation goes by in the blink of an eye, where the time spent getting ready usually takes much longer. Enjoying the planning aspect of an event should also be enjoyable, therefor making the whole experience last that much longer!

You summed up what was in my mind but hadn't spoken yet. I feel this way even before I leave the city. Growing up it seemed as though time wouldn't pass at all. Now it seems like the day could've been longer and the sleep a little bit better. :D

Thanks for the up vote and for taking the time to read my reply and get back to me. Also, thanks for everything you do for the Steemit Community, it must take up a lot of your time. Have a wonderful day!

Great work on still moving forward with steemit projects. I've been one who has been MIA a bit lately and gearing back up.

I will vote you as one of my witnesses and tell my friends too

Much appreciated! :)

Sometimes travelling on a tight budget can be funm you have to think outside the box for entertainment! Enjoy your travels and Europe...some beautiful places to embrace.

There is so much to be seen and experienced in Europe! Looking forward to it. :)

I went to krakow about 10 years ago. All the night life is underground. Very cultural city. Enjoy!

All the night life is underground.

Any recommendations?

We just went from one to another I'm afraid I didn't take notice of the names. Probably too much alcohol consumed to take much notice! There is a lot in the centre, all under the shops so you will be spoilt for choice.

I liked the heading Tarik pe Tarik—-typical image of indian judiciary in the minds of its citizens

Its always good to have a break from routine life. Hope this trip refreshes you and gives you good experiences. Looking forward for your future post.

Thanku for your up vote!I have upvoted your post. Will keep voting !

Congrats Meghanbhai now you are witness #40 and this is really awesome.
